Now I don't know whether to be upset with that listing for LG-54 or not. The only reason I didn't get the SDCC Fort Max - at cheap, cheap, A1-purchasing-mistake prices! - is because it had the *proper* Cerebros head; it was tough, given that the Cerebros also played an awesome version of the theme tune, but Rebirth-accuracy won out in the end. If, however, we're now getting a proper Cerebros head as a stand-alone...
I just hope that they don't make Bumblebee a G2 'Bee or something.

Spike and Fort Max have no connection in japan, so there's very little possibility it'd be Fort Max Spike.
If it were, then they'd probably use the bogus hasbro headsculpt since to my knowledge, was never available there, as opposed to the proper head which was.
Almost 100% likely that it's a titanmaster retooled or repainted to look like movie exosuit. Outside of Bumblrbee, drawing a complete blank on possible head mode identity.

Octone, Slugslinger & Bumble are all labelled New Headmaster which I'm guessing means a new head plate, not the whole Headmaster. As the link says it's a bit odd as Octone already has a cartoon accurate face! None of the Voyagers have been refaced so far. Titanmaster Emissary in white would be my bet for Spike.... If there's a listing leak now, they'll be pictures mid afternoon Sunday. |

It could the the alternative animation model with the bigger eyes, but given Takara's desire to stay very toon accurate it might just be like the Headmasters that they want to redo it. Although I agree, Octone's face is as good as it needs to be for cartoon accuracy. Very odd.

I was wondering when someone was gonna get around to starscream.
So now there are four unique heads Takara has. Hosehead, Minerva, Sweep, and now Starscream.
Why again exactly did hasbro feel the need to release Ramhorn by itself with a bunch of repacks, instead of doing up a couple of these, with him?

That Cerebros head is much nicer than the Hasbro one. I'm going to have to have that to help placate my ambivalence towards Fort Max.
