Yes I much prefer the darker blue, but I just really do not like the mold as Skids at all. Yes he had a lot of wide-ranging firepower, but he wasn't 'armoured-all-up' like this mold is. He was more subtle about it. He is, after all, a scientist. I really don't like the hot-pink stripes 'n'all. Glad it's not just me, and I consider myself a Skids fan! And an MTMTE fan. And still this does nothing for me. -Jim |

Yep, pretty hard-core Skids fanning over here too. He was my first Transformer! And this mold just isn't right for Skids. Not '85/Marvel UK Skids anyroad.

TakaraTomy: you are a Japanese toyline. So shouldn't your box for LG-18 be labelled Micron Legend Starscream Supermode instead of Armada Starscream Supermode? If it's Armada, then the toy is Thundercracker?
Nice deco, very nice, but feels small compared to the recent CW jets!

Do you have any quality issues with yours?
Mine, the plate the head is on, is perminantly angled up do to transformation.
And the nosecone doesn't peg into the waist piece.

I think there's a VERY good chance we'll get these heads with the stand alone Titanmasters, there's been a rumour for a while that they'd present one version with the deluxe and larger toy and another with the stand alone head.
The only thing I am thinking TT for, even at this stage before I've seen it, is Max: Mastersword.

Ooh that's cheeky. Hasbro have got Hardhead sorted, but that Takara Skullcruncher head is much better!
Let's hope it's true that each figure will have two heads, one with and one without the toy.

Hey, actually, hang on. Why are these in the Legends line? Unite Warriors were their own thing, even if they were boxsets. Legends has a release rate too slow to funnel the whole of Titans Return through.

I think there's a few things going to happen here.
I can see Legends getting it's release rate upped, especially if Unite finishes. We're yet to see Unite's post Bruticus plans aso don't know what (if) they're doing Sky Reign, Computron and Liokaiser.
I don't think we'll see the full monty of Titans in Unite. They could very well just stick to those that were Headmasters in the Japanese Headmaster Series ("HEAD ON!") So no Blurr, Scourge etc etc. I'll be interested to see what they do with Blaster & Soundwave as that in turn commits Legends to doing Legends (2 packs like their previous venture in 2014?) Can't see them selling both Sentinel Prime and Astrotrain. Is Optimus close enough to the Masterforce Optimus?
The Titanmaster heads...... yes that one could be interesting. Blind Boxed, like Micron Booster, with chase figures? Gashpoden?
The only thing I'm confident on is Max and I'll predict an early December release at about the time Devastator came out here.

I'm okay with a Max without a Mastersword. It's just a sword. *listens to dismayed gasps and cries* But full Ginrai... That could be an issue.

Don't forget Adventure. Takara has been splitting up CW between United and Adventure, so assuming TFA gets continued for the forseeable future, anything they DON'T put in Legends will likely end up there.
And I think this is a distinct probability, as nuRID will continue for a while yet, but again without enough new molds to make Takara happy.
