Phil!!!!! table expansion needed! confusion! alert! you have calmed me right down with the titan head explanation - but what about these vehicles they ride in?
So - Takara Wheelie comes with Go Shooter, which is actually Titanmaster Loudmouth. But! Hasbro Loudmouth comes with a vehicle to sit in, which doesn't come with Takara Wheelie? (am I right?) so who in Takaraland has Loudmouth's vehicle!?
ARG! and what about all the other Titanmaster vehicles?
JustgoHasbroJustgoHasbroJustgoHasbro... it'll be alright...

Phil!!!!! table expansion needed! confusion! alert! you have calmed me right down with the titan head explanation - but what about these vehicles they ride in? The Deluxe column bellow indicates which Japnese deluxe has which Titanmaster vehicle/beast. The vehicles come with the deluxes. But only the toys that actually were a headmaster the first time around have the extra vehicle. So Blurr and Scourge don't have them but Skullcruncher, Hardhead & Wierdwolf do. 3 of the six vehicle/beast toys have so far been used in Japan. Brawn, Loudmouth & Nightbeat's vehicles haven't while Crashbash, Terribull & Apeface's accessory vehicle/beast come with the three deluxes named above. Clobber and Skytread are themselves repaints in the western line. 4 of the remaining Deluxe Titanmasters are yet to be announced in Japan: Highbrow, Chromedome, Brainstorm and Mindwipe. If the pattern is followed they'll have packed in vehicle/beast weapons too as they were all originally Headmasters in Japan. Slightly updated Titanmaster Table: Column 1 is the Titanmaster's name. Column 2 is the original name of the toy. Column 3 is the Japanese name the head robot is using in Legends. Column 4 is the name of the Legends Legend that the head robot comes with Column 5 is the name of the Legends Deluxe that the creature/vehicle/weapon comes with Column 6 is the name of the American Repaint (or original version) of the toy Name | Original | Japanese | Legend | Deluxe | Repaint | Crashbash | Squeezeplay | Cancer | LG-24 Shockwave | LG-22 Skullcruncher | Clobber | Loudmouth | Siren | Go Shooter1 | LG-29 Wheelie | | | Nightbeat | Nightbeat | Nightbeat2 | LG-28 Rewind | | | Terribull | Horribull | 3 | | LG-21 Hardhead | Sky Tread | Ape Face | Ape Face | | | LG-31 Weirdwolf | | Brawn | Brawn | | | | | Sky Tread | Flywheels | | | | of Terribull | Clobber | Grimlock | | | | of Crashbash |
1 The Japanese version of Siren, Go Shooter, is decorated different but the Headmasters are identically coloured so expect Go Shooter to be the same. Terribull's original Japanese name is Bullhorn. 2 The Japanese version of 1988 Nightbeat is vastly different and called Minerva: expect a recolour of the head at some point! 3 Terribull's Japanese name is Bullhorn so expect that to be used on a Japanese version of him. JustgoHasbroJustgoHasbroJustgoHasbro... it'll be alright... <rocks gently> Happier now? The information was there all along!

I panic. You're a hero. See, there's a logical rule there that makes it make sense.

On reflection that probably does look better. But as neither really reflect the original Skids they're both a bit of a fail really. It's a great design, just not really Skids.

Just pre-ordered everything currently available at Kapow. Which I think has me covered until October, maybe.
