I'm still convinced the only reason they went purple is because Hasbro had the green one planned for a box set.
And by the time that was cancelled, it was too late for Takara to switch.

I would love a green and purple Megs from that mould, almost as much as I'd have loved one from the CW leader mould, but no bugger'll make it!

I was gonna say maybe in the next line we'll get a true G2 Megatron update, instead of having to accept tanks that look nothing like him painted green, but yeah. That's not gonna happen anytime soon.

I got my G2 Megatron and Windblade today.
Love the Windblade mold, and this deco is outstanding. Her blue collar is transluscent plastic. The white is a fantastic contrast.
Still irritated the targetmaster isn't Fracas, though.
Megatron is great, but ultimately it's exactly as you'd expect it to be (unlike Optimus, who's G2 and Black Convoy decos are shockingly gorgeous in person).
Love them both.
