Right chaps, insight and considered thinking time. Where is this line going now? It's a separate imprint to the Legends line, so as we've seen it doesn't have to stop for the Titans stuff to start coming out, as with US retail. So how many more sets are there going to be?
Retail 01 Superion - June 15 02 Menasor - August 15 04 Devastator - Dec 15 07 Bruticus - June 16 08 Computron - August 16
Mall exclusives 03 Defensor - Dec 15 05 Grand Prime - Feb 16 06 Grand Galvatron - April 16 EX Lynxmaster - Oct 16
That gives one use of each Voyager from the Hasbro retail/box set releases, except Pyra Magna. I think it also means that with straight retail releases, there are no Deluxe repaints being used - only the full remoulds or originals. If that's a rule I think that would discount any more retail boxes and explain why Defensor was an exclusive. The repaint figures are all in the Mall exclusives, which is what Mrs Destruction would come in as. I think the comic hint means there will be a Victorion equivalent, and the bimonthly release schedule since last December suggests it'll be a Mall exclusive for this December. Which would make five retail sets and five exclusives.
That all seems neat to me, so I'd say Mrs Destruction will be the last. But, there's the question of Lio Kaiser, which seems a very odd choice for a US release - especially with the new head moulds. Might that then be an exclusive from another channel in Japan? like E-Hobby?

Indeed. He was ehobby wasn't he? and the use of the battle core (head) mould that didn't appear elsewhere? or was that one on Grand Prime? He had the EX prefix Skymasterlynxthing has. It does all fit - it seems to hinge around one use of each Voyager.

Yep. There we go.
VICTORION IS NOT EVEN HERE YET.
As I previously predicted, a black and purple version, and it'll be out in December as a Mall exclusive.
The question now is, how much remoulding is it getting given the Hasbro one already has new heads unused in Japan. I bet they don't use the Alpha Bravo mould twice.

It's Victorion's combiner head, meaning there is almost definitely a Takara version of Victorion coming.
A week after I bought the Hasbro one.

But...but how on Earth can anyone tell how Japan Victorion is a different colour from a line drawing???

Not just from the drawing, Pyra Magna has previously appeared in different colours in the Bruticus comic. snakas.blog95.fc2.com/blog-entry-5316.htmlThe purpley theme there is continued on the background colour here

Oh I'm just predicting. Purple seems a likely colour to me so the fact it's been used as the background there makes it DEFINITE.
Takara Victorion is also harbouring Power of the Daleks.
And the missing half of Dad's Army season two.
And this weekend's lottery numbers are 5, 16, 21, 34, 37 and 43

And this weekend's lottery numbers are 5, 16, 21, 34, 37 and 43 Okay, so I'm still only an apprentice seer. I *may* occasionally get things wrong. Meanwhile, we're nearly half way through August and I'm not seeing any in hand pictures of Unite Computron yet. Come on Takara!

Not due out till the weekend after. Ditto Unite Computron. I'm worried about that. Why haven't we seen any Takara Technobots in hand yet?

No, I mean TF Yuki was tweeting pictures of Blurr and Scourge as far back as May, and we've seen those two in shots at toy shows in their Takara colours since then too. I just don't remember seeing anything of Computron since the pre-orders went up.

I saw the Hasbro one combined on the Kapow stall today and it looked fantastic. Looking at those comparisons, the Takara one is going to be sublime.

Can't be far off, this place is knee deep in them. ID Toys have built a wall of them. Kapow have a wall of SDCC Maxes, which seem to be everywhere too. That one is going to shelf warm I think, the retail one is selling quickly.
