OK, so sometimes in comics and the like I see that black and white 8-bit-like square thingy (such as the 2000ad FCBD issue) and I know I am supposed to point the phone at it to make magic things to happen. How do I do this? Is there an app thing I need?
If only phones came with manuals.

I'm still stuck on that.
In the Samsung music app how do I turn the shuffle option off and play albums in order? It confounds me utterly.

There should be a wee symbol on the player when you are playing which has two arrows, one above the other, they intersect. Make sure that isn't on - that is Shuffle.

Is there a manual online as to how to make the shuffle feature go away? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to play albums in order.
Also I had only just found out where the calculator function was but then the Android thing updated and it has gone somewhere.

Since the phone updated I keep getting a pop up alert telling me to sign into gmail. I don't even know what gmail is. How do I make it go away?
And I am told I make make the whatsapp alert sound change according to who is messaging me but buggered if I can find the button that tells me how.

You need a QR code reading app. Run that, point your phone's camera at the code and the app will read the web address contained in the code and load it into your web browser.
They're basically links you can activate with a camera rather than having to type the address in.
