Yes but you have a massive amount of space above them! You really need tiny little shelves.

Either that or carefully constructed stands so that flying Micromasters and Mini-cons can be double-decked above the ground alt-mode ones. (clear cylinder Lego, combined with the clear deck elements from the CB Tardis or similar would do the job nicely).
Note, I haven't actually done this myself - but only due to a lack of Micromasters/Mini-cons remaining in the collection.

Nuremberg Toy Fair Transformers Details news.tfw2005.com/2016/01/31/nuremberg-toy-fair-transformers-details-308478 The Nuremberg Toy Fair has been underway for a few days now, and in fact is about to come to an end. We’re just now starting to get some details in about what was shown, Transformers-wise. TFW2005 boards member Marvelous, who was at last year’s show, was once again able to attend this year and has been gracious enough provide us with some information. Unfortunately, it sounds as if security was a lot tighter and much less was shown compared to last year – but what was on display includes…
Titans Return: • Most of the already-known TR toys in package, including the Deluxes and Chromedome’s head • Titan Masters Apeface – new reveal, was only a head with a small ape-like vehicle

Apeface!

It seems this Apeface, like the Chromedome, is another of the head + vehicle/beast sets.
But there's also some evidence that these might be being used to release alternate heads for toys that will come later. Look at the Blaster prototype: The face is sculpted in a different colour plastic to the rest of the Headmaster which indicates it can be changed, and indeed this seems to be what's happening with Soundwave.
So it's not game over for Deluxe Chromedome and Voyager Tripplechanger Apeface yet.

Folks are well aware I and Phil champion the merits of repainting MMs as other larger G1 characters. Overload as Optimus etc etc. I remember wishing at the time that the Micromaster and Action Master concepts had been combined - i.e., the Micromasters had been miniaturised versions of classic G1 characters to bring them back. (However, in retrospect, the Action Masters gave us comic/cartoon style designs of classic characters, which we take for granted these days.) As for Mini-Cons, like the concept (Micromasters that connect to larger figures), but always found the execution to be rather poor, not really helped by the fact that many had the poor build quality you'd expect of Christmas cracker novelties. So, the Titans… Yeah, I like what we know if it so far. If it brings back some characters that have been so-far ignored by Classics/Universe/Generations, that's a positive development.

Huh. I missed the bit where Chromedome wasn't getting a full figure...

Me too. Is that confirmed? How can we have a Headmaster line without the big four?

See above.
The Chromedome here appears to be just the head, with a litle vehicle, but there's an expectation that a full size version with a different face sculpt will follow?
Just because it isn't in the launch wave and new Headmasters are doesn't mean it isn't happening

Huh. I missed the bit where Chromedome wasn't getting a full figure... I'm not sure if this is one of the things Ive heard and aren't supposed to repeat or if it was just random conjecture, but er.. I heard a suggestion that CW Deadend was getting his combiner gimmick scooped out to provide a place for a titan figure to ride. I kinda like this idea.

So CW are being repainted and shoved into a non-CW line?
I cannot express how lazy and disappointing I find this idea without descending into incomprehensible swearing and shouting.

Possibly. We know not yet.
But I can see how it could work with Deadend and Breakdown.
We shall see .... But possibly not at Toyfair!

Given that Chromedome is a very basic transformation that is essentially the same as Deadend I can see the logic. Even heavily remoulded, it would surely be cheaper than a new mould that would do the same thing and if that allows extra budget to go to the other deluxes, then I dont mind.
If its a heavy remould, the little flip down chest piece and enough of the car to look like Chromedome, then it should be fine.

I do see above. :-) But that it was a "head only" release isn't how I interpreted it. And it's unexpected. But then I guess that Nightbeat also being "head only" is a bit odd. So it's not surprising either. I just wanted actual, written, unambiguous confirmation. ;-)

And that'd make an excellent Nightbeat, with Streetwise tooling making a great Siren.

Yeah, me too, him and Rook are the best of the bunch. Deadend would actually make a better Nightbeat and Siren than Chromedome, but I can see it doing all 3 which is all the more reason for using the mould.

Honestly, not sure why the guy's bothering this time. We've seen official photos of Soundwave and a colour one of Alpha Trion. This is a little clearer so....

After Sins of the Wreckers I wouldn't be surprised to see this Trion repainted as Carnivac. Which makes me sad and curious all at once.

Along with Henry Masterson, Dirtboss needs to be done as a titanmaster. Make the mini-vehicle a forklift, and there ya go.

It's the tedious shit of cutting up photos, desaturating them, turning them into black and white then releasing them bit by bit just to get hits and attention about things he didn't make. Very childish immature behaviour. "Look at me! Look at me!"
