I wish I liked Headmasters and didn't find them itchy, 'cos some of these, particularly Fort Max, are looking pretty nice.

Not confirmed but we'll be getting Weirdwolf from Alpha Trion (unless this is going to be a reveal), we could also have our first Dinobot Headmaster in Snarl. Who could Skullsmasher be repainted into?

I don't think we are. The existing HMs are being done as a deluxe, Alpha Trion is a Voyager. Not sure where you've got the Snar l thing from either: the only Snarl it looks like is the Beast Machines lion. List of Skullsnasher repaints up thread, bear with Krok, Beast Wars basic Megatron, that odd Optimus Aligator thing in the cartoon. Iguanus if they added a frill |

Yes he is.
Quite bizarre that in a range so clearly focussed on delivering G1 homages (albeit some with new gimmicks) that we get such a non-G1 version of Trion. Not that I'll complain, mind you - I like it.

Sunbow Trion never had a shown alt form.
IDW, he's the Bat-Tumblr.
Botcon, he's a lion, and a Sith Intercepter wannabe. TWO lions, actually (because Alpha Trizor makes ZERO SENSE AS CHEETOR).
So honestly, he's spent as much time as a lion, as he has anything else.

Trion feels like a mould designed for BW reuse. Lio Convoy maybe Wolffang and I suppose Carnivac now. Exactly why they thought to use it for Trion first is beyond me.

That's the Snarl one that was repainted for Botcon but with it being a different size class. But would give Hasbro a repaint so they can make more money.
