I think I see Decepticon Clones. Maybe wishful thinking.

Looks like G2 Menasor next to blaster. Nothing else is "legible" (propper visual related word escapes me ATM)

Looks like my theory about normal TFs are now heads for titans modeled after themselves seems to hold weight. "Nucleon" looking like a tiny Megatron piloting Galvatron is reaaaally weird otherwise. All of it is kinda weird, fictionally to be anything else.

Right now I'm having first-view, "I'M LOVING THESE" squees.
I really like that Galvatron. A beautiful looking mold there. Although slightly hollow arms and legs has me worried, in this post-CW Thundercracker world. (Although Magnus and Megs make me feel a little better.)
Blaster's not looking too bad, either. And it's REWIND! At last! One of my other babies from MTMTE! I can't not want him.
But what I'm liking the look of most - and this'll be controversial, I'm sure - are Nightbeat and Horri-Bull.
Yes, they're ridiculous. A strange Head/Brain/Action-master crossover - little robots that turn into nothing but heads but do come packaged with vehicles. Which means that the whole gimmick behind this line seems to be the inter-changeability of heads - which takes us nicely back to Armada, but with a twist. Or, if you will, back to the Japanese Headmaster cartoon. It's many homages in one. And, I think, will have a nice play value.
Of course, it could be ridiculous in terms of fiction. But if Roberts is involved, and Barber's having one of his good days, it may not be that bad.
For now, I'm excited.

Think we're done for tonight.
Those Headmaster vehicles remind me of something Diaclone.

And Diaclone, yes. So many homages, so little toy. Still loving it.

So it looks like Galvatron is as much Brainmaster as Headmaster. The whole crown crest is part of the main body, and not part of the head. That's an odd design choice, as you'd think it'd be easier to incorporate that into the head. Unless they want to make sure The Galvacrown belongs to whoever uses the body?
I started to wonder if Blaster's was similar, but remembered to pictures of him headless. Rewind looks brilliant. Stripes is a borderline monstrosity, unfortunaely. I'm really not feeling these chunky "tapes are now ipads" designs. Maybe it's trying to shoehorn three modes? But they really aren't pulling them off well, at all. Buzzsaw was pretty bad, and Stripes has the same issues. It's gotta be the downstep in engineering quality combined with forced third mode, because we *know* they're capable of doing so much better with that basic shape (MP Laserbeak and Ravage, Classics Ravage).
Galvatron, Hardhead, and Skullcruncher are amazing. Pretty much Scoop level for the latter two. Blaster would be cooler to me, if he were voyager or deluxe.
You know, I hedged my bet on the beast Shadow being Horri-Bull. My second bet being Skullcruncher. I'm not surprised it was Skull. What shocks me is Horri-bull WAS in that picture, too! I didn't see that one coming at all.

Hardheaded and Skullcruncher can seat their Headmasters inside them. So can Galvatron. He has a cockpit on his back, which looks more like a nose one than a cannon stand. Making me think he has a starfighter mode.

Call me crazy , but Galvatron looks wierd in robot mode while Blaster looks wierd in boom box mode.
Skullcruncher and Hardhead look great.
This is interesting . First Combiners, then Heasmasters. Guess Hasbro is feeling the heat from third party companies .

Looks like another hit for Hasbro, few things look a bit crappy, mainly the tapepads, but damn. Goodbye money, again!

If you look at the wings on Stripes (Steeljaw) & going back to the pic from the other day - it looks like he connects to the shoulder unless Hasbro had him on his side near Blasters shoulder.

Good call.
Okay, only a few hours later, with too much cold and not enough sleep, can I be the first to say that, much as I like the general designs, I'm suddenly worried about these toys? Those renders really highlight just how *empty* some of the toys are, especially the "deluxes". Now I know that there is some precedent for this, and they're clearly trying to pack a lot of feature into that price point, but even so... they're mostly shells. And not complete ones at that. I know it's a trend, given costs of plastic, etc, but even so...
That said, most of my worries are rendered irrelevant by the reveal of Galvatron's third mode - a space dildo! Fantastic!

There really is very little need for third party stuff by this point. Pretty much everything folk complained isn't being done is being done now!
I wonder though if these toys will reach the UK given how much CW has (apparently) stiffed here.

OK, reaction: Titan Masters: Love the idea of the heads with the vehicle, the implementation is pushing a real Diaclone button there. Good stuff. Legends: Eject's great, nice to see the established tank theme began with the aborted RTS Scouts continued. I'm not sure about Stripes, but think it will look better in black as Ravage. Deluxe: Nothing but love here, both Hardhead & Skullcruncher look great. Skullcruncher was top of my original Decepticon HM wants list so this may help postpone that spend. Voyager Galvatron: good stuff again. The HM is nice, and there's something about it riding in the cockpit of Galvatron as a jet which invokes a real movie vibe. Be interesting to see him with Cyclonus but we now need a Voyager Scourge to go with the pair. Leader Blaster: this seems like an old friend by now thanks to the Botcon accidental reveal and leaked picture but in looks very nice as an actual toy. Base mode rocks. Ramps, figure stand pegs, spare 5mm ports, seats for HMs. Couldn't ask for more. My only concern is I don't see the repaint potential for Hardhead, Skullcruncher (Krok?) or Galvatron. The Legends will be back in the next wave as Rumble and Ravage with Rewind and Frenzy to follow. The Eject tank is probably the new Legends Strike Plane mould. Blaster is obviously Soundwave (not my digibash)

I think they could do Thunderwing out of Galvatron (with the whole Energon toy) That Optimus toy we had line art for could also be used for Scourge (but going RID rather than G1). Hardhead could make a few characters - nay tank like character, we had a few in the Movie lines.
