Mine came with a mace. Since Master Andu is also getting his from Kapow, I would expect him to have similar.
Although, I do indeed not give a rats' arse about the mace - it's ALL about that banana box!

It just seems confusing that it might/might not come with a mace.
Also I'm not sure gorillas eat bananas in the wild so the 'joke' is lost on me I'm afraid.
What's with 'BW2' on the box..?

In the Japanese dub, Convoy talked about bananas a lot so in the target market the gag makes sense. It's a bit lost over here.
Not sure about BW2.

I'd've called that a flail rather than a mace... I'm not entirely surprised that it isn't a part of the standard release. Since pretty early on in the Masterpiece line Tomy have shown that their main concern is matching the appearance of things to the various animated show looks, and Beast Convoy didn't have a flail in either Beast Wars or Beast Wars Metals.
As to having the Beast Wars Second on the banana box, I think that is referencing the Beast Wars Second movie. In that Beast Convoy travelled in time and teamed up with Lioconvoy and group.

It just seems confusing that it might/might not come with a mace. It depends where your supplier has got his stock from, just like the coins with Masterpieces and Unite Warriors, and how far down the pile your order was processed. What's with 'BW2' on the box..? Isn't there an eye next to the 2? In which case it's a stylised BW20 logo, celebrating the 20th anniversary.

Yeah, that's a "BW20th" replacing the zero with the iconic Eye from the original packaging. I imagine it's the official logo, but this is the first time we're seeing it BECAUSE HASBRO FUCKED OVER BW'S 20th!
Yes, i'm bitter.

Probably nothing to do with Habro as it is on a Japanese item.

I'd've called that a flail rather than a mace... My bad, you are correct. Was in a rush when I posted, don't get much time on the boards these days! I know Robot Kingdom listed it as included. Waiting to see if my TFs-Express order will include it as they normally have the coins.

He does! These are so good, and man, that flail has some weight behind it. Monkius Prime is pretty good, I am impressed.

Ahem... Picture on the box has his white leg at the back showing through. Or at least that's what I think it is, if not, this guy needs to be in the X-Rated thread.
ps yay, TFs-Express delivered on the banana box.

Hrm... The detailing is quite nice, but it is paint work, so be careful not to get any scrapes during transformation! The gorilla head folding into the body could be victim to this as it's quite a tight fit.

Yeah, first transformation and I had a slight paint chip on Optimus Primal's white faceguard.

I got mine in and I love him! He has to have a different designer from the autobot cars because he's lightyears better than their ackwardly proportioned and under detailed ugliness. His transformation is clever. It's not completely intuitive , but it's not the nightmare sideswipe, bumblebee, and tracks are.
Two immediate thoughts: He has a retractable peg in his back that's completely undocumented. It's drawn in the instruction illustrations, but not mentioned otherwise.
HIS EYES LIGHT UP! I don't recall this being mentioned before!

The light up eyes have been seen in lots of pictures.
The peg is so T30 Rattrap can ride on Op's back as per a cartoon episode

His transformation is clever. It's not completely intuitive , but it's not the nightmare sideswipe, bumblebee, and tracks are. We'll have to disagree on Bumblebee there - I kind of like his transformation. But even so, yes, MP Primal is so much better. And I agree with you entirely on the designer - it's just so much better than any of the Autobot cars of late (in my opinion, anyway). Of course, part of the awkwardness comes from them trying to turn realistic cars into badly-drawn-cartoon-accurate robots, which is always going to hamper them. Primal changes from one biped to another, which is less of a challenge. I think the real test is going to be MP Cheetor - not because of the number of limbs (because they're the same), but because of the change in body proportions...

MP Primal in reddish brown, homage to Universe Primal. But... new beast mode face, belly, and feet. New accessories (maybe a treebranch club?). Mutant head face for robot mode. (Double up, one in original toy colors for MP-32) Beast mode is now a sasquatch instead of gorilla. Heck, make it Beast Wars Strika, as a nod to the Patterson footage. That's how to get another use out of the mold, while being completely in the spirit of the kookiness of Beast Wars
