It's interesting, solid hour of interview. It's sad to hear him say though that he would only consider doing a variant cover for IDW if he could use his current art style and wouldn't go back to those distinctive G2 lines.

I like that style of art, reminds me of Genndy Tartakovsky. Where did you find that? I follow Derek Yaniger on Instagram. He posted it there, posts loads of his work there. Yeah Tartakovsky has a retro feel to his style as well. Andy

The arms are the only thing that makes it look like Derek's art. But less gritty than his G2 art.

An enjoyable interview, loved his "Who are IDW?" and "I like the films" comments due to the hosts not knowing how to react to them. It could perhaps have done with an artist in on the chat ("Wait... did Marvel send you special paper?"), but overall nicely done.
