Which single toy is the worst mis-use of a size class by Hasbro? If they have tried passing off a basic toy in voyager size price point which they have slightly being doing over the past 10 years. But which is the worst figure that makes the toy seem totally rubbish compared to the basic size. We have had some basic Cyberverse ones that are better in DX format & the price issue isn't bad when you pick them up for £6.99 in B&M.
The Titan £20 toys are not included because they are not upscales of the £7.99 twin packs, they are new toys made for the £20 price - but the Rescuebots ones are better seeing you can put those mini figures inside them.

Easy. Beast Machines Mega Megatron. A deluxe toy in a mega box.
Universe Magna Stampede & Stockade, with two Minicons, in an Ultra box comes close.

The 'Classics' Strike Plane mold. Should have been voyager sized. Starscream, Dirge and pals are too small at delux and it doesn't look right. It remains a constant ongoing source of anguish for me. (Did I understand the question?)

I think the question means toys being sold at the wrong price-point ie buying a small deluxe that you think should have been Legends price.

Agree with you on the planes - but that is doing the question the wrong way because of getting the toy at a lower price point. It's if a toy is released that would look better in a smaller size. Hasbro could have easy enlarged the jets & they would have sold at £15.

Or more! I'd have been happy to pay more for the figures I want. It's a great mold, bit too damn small! Classics Jazz fighting Classics (RTS) Jazz just looks daft! It hurts me.

By this point I'm convinced that if Hasbro/Tomy had a device to 3D print the toys we imagine directly from our mind we still wouldn't be happy.

I would. But I'm a simple creature.

I don't think anyone wants to 3D print anything that'd come from my mind...

If you're talking about overpriced for what you get as a toy, then the generation legends take the cake, with legion class coming in right behind.
The upscaled legions that made up the final wave of Beast Hunters deluxe class would be the stars. Conversely, I think the upscaled cyb commanders that made up the last two voyagers were great deals, since they had decent articulation, and were supersized. (That $25 voyager predakibg was a better toy, better deal, and almost as big as the $70 ultimate predaking)
I think Leader Class has turned out the worst offenders, with Jetfire being the worst. It's maybe a deluxe equivalent in design and function, but $50? By that I mean everything about it feels like an upscaled deluxe. Everything hides under the jet backpack, and instead fakes every bit of jet kibble in it's robot mode. Megatron isn't much better in feeling like an upsized design.
So, I think it's Leaders and Legends that come off the worst.

Beast machines supreme Cheetor. I never took him out the box but he could have been done in super size. I think the only reason he was bigger was to cater for the handle you pull. But I never took him out the box so don't know the standing issues from the mega release where present.

This isn't relating to Hasbro - but could we get KO voyager size CW limbs? I think we might but expect the link joint to split on the toys.

I agree with Jetty. Over here, CW Legends are £10 and so I have bought less than I would have as I think that range has very good toys in it but they are in no way £10 toys.
