THIS IS PLANE RELATED! WHY HAS legios NEVER TOLD US THIS ?? ?? ?? ?? The last time I can recall seeing a carded Powerglide was back in 1985... And I barely had time to cut the profile and techspec out before it got whisked off to the bin so I've never really noticed. So, yeah. Mea culpa. But yep, G has the right of it. The wings are on backwards. (for extra unfortunateness - that is going to make landing interesting for Powerglide if he tries to make a conventional approach and land in 'plane mode. It means his landing wheels are also on backwards, taking shocks from a direction not designed for...Oh dear...) Karl

Powerglide's wings are easily removed and swapped around if you wish. You just have to poke the little metal rod out.

Clearly it did once exist.
And it was MAGNIFICENT.
But not quite as magnificent as...
White Hubcap
The one true Hubcap. How Hubcap should have been...

The podcast referenced in that article is interesting too, although admittedly not as interesting as the article.

That makes a lot of sense. And also explains why Hubcap is yellow, instead of a unique color

And helps by extension explain why Hubcap made it to G2 instead of Cliffjumper.
I would be very interested to get ahold of a junker g2 bee and hubcap, scrape off the vac-metal" and see what the real plastic color is

As its been said before, the G2 Minibots must also tie into the Chinese re-releases too somehow. The same four toys were in abundance in G1 packaging at the same time.

Opened Hubcap. Which means it's time to do this... Mechanic Studio Swerve, Selects Hubcap, Pottop Tailgate, Mechanic Studio Pipes, Pottop Outback. I think this just about works. All of a sudden Tailgate looks a bit lacking when I used to think he was one of the stronger ones, but I think I could cope with this being the 86 minibot team. Minus Wheelie obviously, but he's more part of the movie than this lot. Not so sure about the previous crew I posted before, they still don't feel right as a team to me.

Wait until Bumblebee happens and it's taller than Brawn. Your mind will not cope. Mine isn't coping with just the thought of it!

Yes, that isn't going to work. Unfortunately Mechanic Studio seem to have moved on from doing these, I was really hoping for Brawn and Windcharger from them.

The big flat fronts of Cliffjumper and Hubcap in robot mode make me think their rubsigns have been lost through wear and tear.

Hmm. Those do look like a nice Autobot symbol would fit on there.

I gave Cliffjumper a symbol, but it's upside down in vehicle mode, if that bothers you. (Didn't me) I won't on Hubcap because he's got a robot mode visible one.

Cliffjumper's -and therefore Bumblebee's- scale is all wrong. Thankfully I have a representation of both characters in the correct scale.
This infuriates me! Stuff like this is a direct contribution to my Collector Fatigue! The thought of having to begin collecting The Six AGAIN! Because AGAIN they mess it all up! AAARRGH!

Time to get educated in the ways of MOGUERA I suspect Ben and Ralph's Mysterians are different, further adding to Shockprowl's confusion....... remember this man controls your ambulances!
