More importantly, Terrorsor. Phil NEEDS Terrorsaur This image at least is *not* based on Airraid. But that doesn't mean the toy isn't. This pic seems more like the supposedly retired classics jet.

Ah - I was wondering what it was based on. Maybe this means it's actually based on the Legends See- Attack Jet mold? But it was drawn based on the Classics mold, due to a mistake with the reference materials, or something..?

A Legend would make sense to finish the set. Hasbro have given us the expectation that the combiner sets should include one.

Just expanding on Phils tweets
All moulds sold as CW, I cant think of any deluxes from previous lines and scattershot is the only voyager so the non CW originating toys are the legends troop builder. I guess its the bumblebee or Starscream mould as I cant imagine any of the other moulds coming up with 3 repaints. Ah Bumblebee hasnt been used in CW has it, so Starscream looks most likely.
Voyager - Scattershot as General Seaclamp Deluxe 1 - Brawl as General Ramhorn Deluxe 2 - Skydive as General Cicadacon Deluxe 3 - Breakdown as Ravage Deluxe 4 - Rook as Predacon Tarantulas Deluxe 5 - Air Raid as Terrorsaur? Deluxe 6 - Deluxe 7 -
custom class is a cw deluxe and is an 84/85 character
Legends - Troop Builder at least one is tied to a familiar G1 character.
really annoyingly, Golden Ticket attendees get an alternative version cast in different colours for the G1 based troop builder. So for the OCD in the fandom it means paying an extra $325 to upgrade. Really harsh behaviour from FP. Im not ocd (at least in this case, but am only about 2 FP botcon figures short of a full set so do find it iritating.

Still, do you think after a while the figures will be worth base cost + 325? Given how Botcon prices have gone I'd be surprised.

There will clearly be people who feel they paid $325 for ONLY the toy and therefore feel that that is its worth which is clearly wrong, on the other hand theres only 110 or so of them being made so if they are any good, prices arent going to be cheap.
As someone who has heard offers for custom class G2 Classics Sideswipe which had a similar production run I know it could end up crazy high. But again depends what it is.

Troop builder: It'll be Groove, remember the Rumble/Frenzy bikes from TF:RID? There's two colours for a start
I'm guessing the Custom class will be an 84/5 jet using either Starscream or Thrust from the Galvatronus set. I'd have paid for that at retail.
Either that or it's Sideswipe/Red Alert with a very new head..... The new head rules out Bluestreak as an option.

Perhaps I am daft but surely an easier way to persuade people to sign up for a custom class is to tell them what toy they will be paying to make?

Or people won't pay if they don't like the character.
Which is ridiculous, of course. Because Transformers fans *never* throw a hissy fit if the character they want doesn't turn up, or it doesn't fit their own idea of what should be there. NEVER.

Hang on...the Golden Ticket is $325???!!!!! Fucking hell! Is that on top of the $400 people already pay for a Primus Package?
If Fun Pub's licence does indeed expire at the end of 2016 I hope whoever holds the licence next has a think about pricing these things at levels people can afford. Surely college age folk and older fans with families are priced out of these events by now?

The golden ticket is my least favourite part of FPs business, which is saying something. Initially it was pay to upgrade your Primus package to a golden ticket and get to bypass registration lines and get front row seating and get 3 time the normal limit of add ons.
FP should have been working out ways to shorten the lines not asking people to pay a premium to avoid them. The front row thing was fine and the add on increase, well if you were that desperate for multiples to resell it was an option. Then the resale value of botcon toys plummeted so they needs other incentives.
A private meeting with the guests was offered (actually I think this has always been part of the package), but honestly very few of the guests are constantly busy over the weekend signings and even as a golden ticket meet and greet, theres still 100+ of you versus 3 or 4 of them.
Now they have added the variant toy, which, yeah Im unimpressed by.

It isn't in their interest to work out how to shorten the queuing time though. That doesn't make them any additional profit, whereas they know that if they offer that sort of thing at an additional charge people are conditioned to be willing to pay for it, and hence their profit increases. Remember, Fun Pub's primary goal is generation of additional money and improved experience for the herd of punters is only relevant as far as it facilitates that process.

Well yeah sadly not too far from the truth, but the worst lines are for package pick up, after that you're supposed to go to the club store to buy add ons and (FP hope) other toys, when the lines got really bad people would give up on the club store or worse be told it was too late to join the queue so theres some shooting themselves in the foot going on.

Well that's a bit more exciting than sticking a new head on the FoC Grimlock mould! But weren't we told all this year's toys were CW moulds? Or was that just most of them?

I think it must have been the limitation of tweeting, they must mean that the mould wasnt previously a CW one, but in this set will be classed as CW as opposed to when they have add ons that are not part of the main theme. For example in 2011 the theme was animated but they had two Shattered glass toys as add ons.

Alpha Trizer.

Extremely doubtful for two reasons: we just got the first Alpha Trizor the year before last, and also (unless they dust off BM Snarl), there's not a lion left to do one, from.
