I like the head, but it doesn't seem quite right for the body.

Oh. Okay. I know it's evil parallels and all, but that just doesn't say "Goldbug" to me. Too much black and not enough gold. Or any gold, in fact. Nice head, though. Direct Botcon link, now also including vehicle mode Prime.

I expected it to look like this after seeing Stealth Bumblebee. I like, but head itself great does look ever so slightly off with the bod.

Strange. I would have expected the Starscream repaint to be called Jetfire.

Strange. I would have expected the Starscream repaint to be called Jetfire. It was found on ebay, so no official confirmation as to what the figure is, just guessing. Might be Jetfire. Head on the Jazz is neat, not so much the body. I like the Trypticon stylee colour scheme on Classics Grimlock, probably the only one I'd actually want so far.

If not for the stupid ass writing all over Jazz I wouldnt mind the paint scheme, obviously barricade inspired but not quite as good, still the mold is all top heavy and blah, the new heads good, but Animated Jazz is better. Grimlock, doesnt matte what you do with it the mold is still a bit pants isn't it.

The Jazz head sculpt looks ace! Wonder how easy it would be to 'alter' this Jazz into a more regular 'goodie' Jazz? Also like his paint aps.

Im taking a molding and casting class during the convention I might try reproducing the head for Classic Prowl which I think would be much more suitable. As for modding this one some nail polish remover might be enough to get rid of the offending lines.

And somehow, I think that's meant to be taken deadly seriously... -Ralph Regretably I don't detect any irony in this entire enterprise at all, let alone in Eeeevil Jazz's sponsor logos. I think we are supposed to take it entirely seriously. I quite liked the original mold that Jazz is made from, but I don't think the Botcon version is anywhere near as good. Mind you, it is better than the rumoured "heroic Starscream" - Galaxy Force Starscream in a white paint scheme with orange trim. I think they were attempting to evoke the '85 Jetfire, but it just looks like the trim has been slapped on randomly to me. Karl

It looks like a horrible KO. They needed actual red plastic not just red paint on an all white toy. In truth even with this flaw It makes an impressive Jetfire in robot mode. It mostly needs more paint apps so theres still some hope for it. If it has about twice as much paint as the one in the auction this could be the beast of the box set.
Compared to the joy of the three seekers and Dreadwind last year thats not saying much.

Not too impressed with that myself. Don't think the colour scheme is particularly good and the revised head sculpt doesn't really do a lot for me.
Hmmm. There were some toys I thought were decent last year (and some that I thought weren't bad but marred by marked mold degeneration issues) , but this year is more on a par with last year in terms of the majority of the toys not really being anything that would catch my interest.

I'm not a big fan of Blurr, but this looks ok to me. The head sculpt is excellant work. The colour scheme made me have a seizure, but kinda fits. They've done ok wi head sculpts so far this year. Jazz is good too.

Jazz's head sculpt is fine. It just doesn't match the rest of the body in any way, I reckon.

Don't think anyone's mentioned this, apols if someone already has. But spotted on Tformers that they've anounced the toys for Botcon. It's called 'Shattered Glass' and would appear to be a Mirror Universe look on Transformers. Verisons of Optimus, Grimlock, Jazz and Goldbug are evil, wereas the hero is Starscream with minicon Razorclaw! What a fantastic idea! Didn't say what molds are being used though. Couldn't find any pics, not that work's PC lets me link stuff. But very intruiged by this idea. Too damn expensive though.

Well Im underwhelmed. Im sure they will look goof FP have proven themselves in that regard. 06 Tigertron is a masterpiece. But this concept, I dunno. Another variation of nemisis Prime and moulds that will likely originate from the Unicron Trilogy.
If I wasnt already committed to going?

I wonder whether perhaps they will remold the evil Optimus Prime to have a Goattee beard did Evil Mr Spock had in the Star Trek version of this?
