It's a parallel universe where the Autobts are evail and they've made optimus Black and purple. What does the colour scheme signify? Lack of creativity, perhaps?
I don't dislike it, but I don't especially like it either. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I do like the brushes of silver.

If, in this storyline, all the Autobots are evil, then Ratchet probably won't give a fig about the condition they're in.

I saw the link and was unmoved. My sentiments can be summed up with the word "meh".

No, Mirror Universe TFs = Cool ! But I seem to be the only person on the planet that thinks so. It may not be 100% original idea but it's never been done with TFs before.

I'll be honest that the whole "Evil Alternates" thing doesn't really interest me very much at all. It is just a bigger version of the Evil Double plot device that I feel like I've seen over and over in different contexts.
In terms of this particular toy I have to say I don't have much in the way of strong feelings at all. I look at the picture and it just seems to be there. I don't dislike it, I don't like it. I'm not fussed one way or another.

Just think back to those When Maximals Go Bad themed episodes of Beast Wars such as "Gorilla Warfare" and "Dark Designs".

Yeah, a Dark Designs colour scheme on Rhinox would be nice. If Rhinox was a good toy.

Gah. One of the first Beast Wars toys I bought after having not bought any tfs in years.
Such a letdown.

Poor Rhinox. But yeah, I did like his "evil" colour scheme.

I would also like to see an Evil Ratchet in lime green, an Evil Ironhide in Black, an Evil Jazz in silver, and an Evil Optimus Prime with flames. Yeah.

I have mixed felling about it. I do like mirrorverse stories I seem to be the only person who liked the DS9 ones. Prime does look good and I have little doubt that the full line up will look very good especially displayed together, but still I cant get excited about his set.

Well if the Seacons come out, they will be an essential purchase. Might be tempted by Nightbeat. Otherwise, not that fussed.

I think Prime might actually look better in the flesh. It looks like it has some nice detailing.
But, yes, "meh" was my reaction, too.

I actually really like that! I intend to get it (providing the price is not too outrageous). I also intend to get the black Ironhide.
If they also did a reissue Jazz in silver (not flat grey) and Optimus Prime with flames, I would be all over those, too.

The book is excellent. A visual feast.
And it has art from Operation Combination and Battlestars that I did not know existed!

Still not excited by Prime maybe less so after the vehicle mode which feels like a bad G2 kitbash. Goldbug makes me happy.

Sadly not or I'd be a little tempted. And now they've stopped Iacon packages. The assumption being that to high a percentage of orders were from non attendees, most likely scalpers who are hoping for a repeat of last years prices.

Oh, deary me, these pictures are in both the Botcon toy thread and the new pictures thread. How confusing! I like Prime more having seen him in truck mode, but Goldbug doesn't seem like Goldbug to me. Too much black, not enough gold.
