I'm vaguely optimistic about the Mirrorverse Botcon stuff as it could be fun - though it is likely it won't be since the promo data seems to think this is a shocking new idea nobody EVER thought of before. ...and I've seen one episode of Cybertron and I still agree with Ralph on the show. It was worse than the UK Generation 2 #1 cover art. It wasn't a particularly original idea when "Star TreK" did it, and that was the 1960's. Since then it feels like everybody has taken a swing at it in one way or another. (I mean, it feels like just about every ITC hero ran into the idea of "evil doubles" at one point or another). The Botcon ad copy is indeed amusing from the point of view of the way they seem to be terribly proud of this very old idea. (Actually, the promo stuff is likely far more entertaining - for the wrong reasons - than the actual product will be). Cybertron I have trouble commenting on, as I only saw one episode and it took me three days to get through it...... (although perhaps that says it all). Karl

Checking for spelling errors, I will repeat my view that FP so far have produced some 40 odd toys in 3 years and so far they have been fairly impressive. Back story may well be a waste of paper, utterly fail to provide any personalities for the toys, but they will look good. e.g. Bubite.
Cybertron was the show I liked. Having realised they couldnt draw they had finally worked out how to present their cgi robots in a good way, as in not how they did Energon. Voices or the most part amused me and of course there was Signal Lancer. It took to long to get going but the second half was a lot of fun. Course the still hadn't learnt o animate.

Oh, don't think I'll waste hours of my life with Armada then! Thanks for the advice chaps!
Cybertron I have seen bits of, and yeah, it passed the time at work, but didn't, how would Graham put it, tickle my fan-bean.

Now is this something you can only get if you're a member of the Collector's Club, or can you buy it without joining (on their website)?

It's cheaper for members, or rather less ludicrous. You want one? I'm still a member.

I'm waiting for my Airazor to arrive. If I can, I will probably also order Astrotrain while it's on offer.

I took a look but couldn't find any pictures. I saw a report that they're to be Universe colours, with hardly any noticeable differences.
Can't seem to find any pics of the Universe colours either....

Zhe googles, zhey do nothing!! Seriously. Ouch. Thanks very much for the link, Nick. I do have a soft spot for the Seacons. I even owned the whole set until they went horribly miscoloured from age/sunlight. I have the God Neptune set but it's not the same without all the accessories (and a missing "Nautilator"!).

Botcon Prime is up and I appear to be the only person on the club board who doesnt like it which feels odd. I suppose I could go on TFW and find people who dislike it but I doubt that would make me feel better.
Oh to clarify I like the design but not enough for the cost of the boxset. Andy
