Just starting this thread so the 3rd party toys thread doesn't get glogged in post www.seibertron.com/energonpub/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=105568Going to go over the slides & just make comments. Stuff like no TFP comic from IDW so not to confuse people who buy IDW comics - then they release RID which happens to be a name of a IDW comic.

Well, we don't have Regen now, so that frees up a 'new continuity' slot. That's what it says. IDW had NuG1 and Regen, so they didn't want a third continuity, not that the name of the comic would confuse people.
I guess TF/Joe is sufficiently far removed to not be confusing.

The following is without just having a go at Rik.
I take it all these comments are from Oct 2011 - 4 years ago. But the IDW 5yrs comment makes it sound more like 2010. BOR costing Hasbro $250K I guess that would wnat that in £'s instead, it would be less. But that would have included the cost for making that book we got too. At least we now know why Hasbro when with the cheap TF4 toys.
We currently have in Transformers
Film series RID cartoon & IDW comics series Rescuebots cartoon series IDW ongoing series with one title having the name change. TF Gijoe comic series Hearts of steel time line Transformers Prime comic series released from 2012 onwards
I don't recall hearing anyone call the Decepticon ship Trypticon in the cartoon.
Rescuebots in the same timeline has Prime? Depends what you've been smoking? You could almost pass it has being in same timeline has the Movies but not Prime. No IDW TF Prime comic - that made me laugh - dissing scott's comics.

TF Gijoe comic series Hearts of steel time line Transformers Prime comic series released from 2012 onwards But only two of them are ongoing, and I don't recall IDW doing a Rescuebot comic. I may be wrong. Competeing with any omgoing comic that came out to push Prime would have been RiD, MTMTE, ReGen and possibly the tail end of DOTM. I can see why there'd be reluctance to commit to another series. And yeah, what's BOR?

Ah... that explains that then. How that could cost 250k I do not know.

Folk needed to have been paid to make it and I imagine a fair number did work for it.

I don't recall hearing anyone call the Decepticon ship Trypticon in the cartoon. I think personally with that I just assumed it was because I've always gone on the premise that the High Moon games were in the same continuity, so it couldn't have been anything else.

they could stll use elements of it - like a character is called Optimus Prime. It can't all be a dead weight
