As long as this chap sells out, Thrust and Dirge are pretty much guaranteed. If they really are only doing 2000 units I think rapid selling out is inevitable. A lot of online stores have already closed their pre-orders.
Where was the information that it was limited to 2000? I've seen people mention it here and on Facebook but have yet to see any kind of official word.
That Takaratomy link up the top is bust by the way, uncle Phil.

The expense of the remould means theres no chance of this only ever getting used for 2000 toys. tru and hasbro clearly love the mould too much not to use this. downside the chances of mpamtc just decreased dramatically.  |

Wow, Takara are really of the opinion the streek planes are of a limited interest. Thundercracker was a limited run too, and he isn't even out yet.
I don't doubt Kapow and Omegalock will have this for deposit pre-orders when they're available. It won't be hard to get one if you really want one.

They're all derived from MP11 so they need a suffix that differentiates them. MP11SW is more indicative of what the figure is than anything else would be. |

I recall their Classics repaints were limited too. Just because the West goes crazy for something doesn't mean Japan does. I imagine if the Japanese market was anything like the American one, Takara would have released a subline just off the Classics Starscream mold in different colours. |

Do you remember Takara Thundercracker which was going for £30+ and then Hasbro released one at retail? I wouldn't worry. Why does it have to be MP-11 anything? Prowl and mold pals, Sideswipe and Red Alert, were the same mold but had different MP numbers? Hmmmm?
