So what do I do?! WHAT DO I DO, PHIL?!?! Do you remember SCF Skywarp, which everyone was paying £300+ for, and then Hasbro released one at retail? Do you remember Takara Thundercracker which was going for £30+ and then Hasbro released one at retail? I wouldn't worry. These guys will see mass release one way or another, it's money on the table. True, true. I just thought the three original planes are pretty core characters in terms of the mythology of the story, and they came out pretty early in the first round of MPs. It's taken forever for them to get to Skywarp and Thundercracker and now Thundercracker is being followed two months later by another limited release of a heavy remould.
It's like buses.
Still, what does it matter. The MP line is really upping the pace and it's fantastic. Look at that schedule -
Nov - Tracks
Dec - Road Rage
Dec - Thundercracker
Dec - Clampdown
Dec - Red Bumblebee
Jan - Ironhide
Feb - Hot Rod
Feb - Ramjet
Mar - Shockwave
Who could have predicted something like that even six months ago. It's amazing, and scarily expensive. Nine figures in five months? what? WHAT? WHAT?!! (cue Titanic).

Why does it have to be MP-11 anything? Prowl and mold pals, Sideswipe and Red Alert, were the same mold but had different MP numbers? Hmmmm? Tis a good point. My guess would be mainstream retail releases get their own number and mall exclusives/asia release versions have a code instead. Does that apply to all of them? It must be something to do with the way they're released. |

It's a pity the planes now seem to have become limited exclusives. The range on the prices is ridiculous. Ramjet has some fairly serious remoulding so I don't get why this isn't in the stack of upcoming main releases.
Anyway. I shall preorder. I got Skywarp and Starscream this way and I'll have Tcracker next week, so I'm not giving up when they give us a remould. Hasbro are too erratic to be sure they'll release this.

You could make your own NR Ramjet for a fraction of the cost! Merely print off a picture of it from the internet and affix it to some stiff card. Then do some work with scissors to make some flaps so it can stand up.
You now have your own NR Ramjet!

Dithered too long and the pre-orders sold out. I do want this for the MP shelf, but it's an expensive few months in that department. I really hope given the fact this has a lot of new moulding and the US/UK market seems to be hot on releasing strike planes at the expense of anything else that this toy sees a release outside this exclusivity window.
