I should think it will be by then. Or at least the East Coast route will be open for diversions.

Oh look. Once again my train is delayed. When I am fully resettled I plan to find a place where I can get about by bus/tram. Northern Fail just isn't reliable enough for getting to work on time with any regularity. I have been learning why it has a bad rep most days!
...and I had thought Scotrail was bad!

I do not doubt your experiences at all. I can only say that in the 4 weeks I have been travelling it I have found Northern Fail unreliable enough that it will influence where I move to. -Ralph

And their trains were buggered on Monday and today. Northern Fail is the worst train company I have ever used. No reliability. It's a daily lottery with them and a cause of great stress. They are, however, helping to narrow down where I will move to!

That's pretty disgusting behaviour by Northern Rail, Doc'....
YOU WANT DELTA FORCE TO TAKE THE BASTARDS TO HELL ON LOAD OF HOT LEAD?!?!?!

Please don't. I have found them to be one of the best and most reliable train companies around.

Hmmm. We have a convergent anomaly here.
The Doctor believes they're shit. M thinks they're ok. Better than ok in fact.
WHO IS RIGHT?
Ummm, Delta Force isn't really about decisions like this. Shooting things or blowing things up or kung-foing the crap owta things, but not, you know, complex investigations....

I suspect some kind of highly localised phenomena that affects only Ralph. Like the lorry driver rain god in hitch hikers who was always getting rained on because the clouds loved him so much. Ralph is a train god. They break down so they can spend more time with him because they want to be with him.

Once again Northern Fail can't get me to work on time and I'm already getting an earlier train than I need to every day to avoid them!
They are the worst. They make Scotrail look like gold!

There was a three minute delay.

7 minutes past the advertised time so I missed the 8:12 connecting tram to work.
As I said, I hope to resettle somewhere where the need for Northern Rail is minimal. The stress will be short term. This will pass. Liie tears in the rain!!!

I needed to rely on getting 2 Northern Fail trains to get to work on time today at a different location. The first one left 4 mins early but I was at the platform so got it fine. The second is currently 15 mins late. I will be late for work yet again.
Unusual to be in a Time Anomaly going backwards *and* forwards though!

Suspect the first one didn't leave four minutes early but was the previous one leaving six minutes late. Never known them to leave early, they always wait at the platform.

Got up earlier to get a train two before the one I need to get a connection. Due to delays I will still be late for work. The daily stress of not knowing if I can get to work on time is causing me to lose sleep. Was up half the night worrying about it

Got up early doors to get an earlier train due to an early start at work today. Naturally, the train is cancelled. Oh, Northern Fail, why are you so shit??
When I have moved I will not have to use them very often and so my life will be much easier. I look forward to the novelty of getting to work on time consistently!

I have experienced cancelled or late running trains 9 out of the previous 11 working days and now owe work several hours as a result. So long, Northern Fail*! It hasn't been fun!
Northern Rail is even worse than The Fife Circle, usually the leader in the Premier League of Shite Travel!

Honestly, it is the most unreliable service I have ever used! I thought nothing could be shitter than The Fife Circle.
By contrast, the Manchester Trams is by far the most reliable transport service I have used! They should open more routes! More! MOOOORRREEEE.

It is the most reliable train service I have ever used far better than any in Scotland. And to be fair the last fortnight a lot of the rail network up here has been underwater. You just seem to find all the rare services that have a problem! Some might call it a rare talent.

But it shall not trouble me past this month. Victory.
