news.tfw2005.com/2015/10/05/transformers-sneak-peek-for-nycc-2015-302346The image shows off a total of five figures, Blaster's jet pack could just be something to attach to his back & not have a gun mode this time - but they do look like wings to the right of the image. They don't match the colour image of Blaster we have seen. So this would mean Soundwave with Wingthing that would attach to his back with 2 big wings. That would make a good 31/10 toy.

That's TFW guessing and counting the three larger toys, the Dinosaur and Headmaster. The bird, small robot and gun were spotted later.

The wings to the right of Blaster are probably a Buzzsaw like Legend or one of the animal companions the toys are rumoured to have.

Blaster Official Images news.tfw2005.com/2015/10/08/titans-return-leader-class-blaster-official-images-nycc-302631Connecting ramps! Squeeeee! The same photo shows lots of the foot stands for the Headmaster toys. Micromaster footstand compatable? Leader Blaster: this seems like an old friend by now thanks to the Botcon accidental reveal and leaked picture but in looks very nice as an actual toy. Base mode rocks. Ramps, figure stand pegs, spare 5mm ports, seats for HMs. Couldn't ask for more. My only concern is I don't see the repaint potential for Hardhead, Skullcruncher (Krok?) or Galvatron. The Legends will be back in the next wave as Rumble and Ravage with Rewind and Frenzy to follow. The Eject tank is probably the new Legends Strike Plane mould. Blaster is obviously Soundwave (not my digibash)

Ralph needs Blaster.
Ralph's favourite characters are Blaster and Shockwave. 2016 will make him happy.

Time for a bit of "how does he transtorm?"
Blaster's legs form his speakers. The front of the leg is the base of the speaker with the outer side of the leg forming the lower front of the speaker while the top of the speaker is the folded out back of the leg covering the arms, which are folded out to the sides to form the majority of the top of the speaker.

Part of me thinks you could be right about PM Prime being a Blaster remold. The base mode is pretty dead on!
These look good apart from all the hollow limbs going on. I'm a bit unsure about the heads with vehicles aspect, mainly because we don't quite know what the price points will be. I heard a rumour they are renaming the class sizes... I mean if those advertised as deluxes are deluxes then fair enough, but what if the head and vehicle is the new deluxe.

Blaster In addition to the ramp connectors there might be some sort of connector for the actual base on the front of it: look at the little tabs of differing height sticking out:

I see what bits you are saying but I don't think they match.
Hadn't thought before how good(ish) a match Marvel and IDW Sentinel's colours are..

The tabs on front match the ones on the back wall which makes me think they're for bracing panels for the transformation rather than a ramp or new connector.
Man that's TOTALLY PM Prime's base mode isn't it. I'm wracking my brain as to how he could be remolded to be a trailer

It occurs to me why I am so taken with TR Blaster (and not just because it is based on one of my two favourite characters). A common complaint for updates of original toys (ie Generations and the like) for me is when they can't do everything the original toy can do ie less play features or less decos. I don't give a toss about extra articulation if an 'upgraded' version has less play value or looks more plain. However, this Blaster can do everything the original can (turns into tape deck and can interect with smaller toys via a chest compartment) but also does more: it has a Headmaster feature, it has an extra base mode, it has ramps which presumably can connect with other toys and other 'headmaster' toys can interect with it. It has *loads* more play features than the original toy! And also seems to have just as many decos on it.
This pleases me immensely.

What Blaster needs is a scout class Scrounge.

Here, here. Looks a top top toy. Can't come out soon enough. Allow me to Third that. Blaster is probably the thing in Titan Wars which I think is going to take the "Best Toy" crown at the moment. He seems to have been designed with an eye to squeezing in play value that wasn't there in the toy it is homaging - and there is so blooming much of it. TW Blaster is in many ways the precise opposite of CW Armada Megatron, who is deeply inferior to the original having lost so many features that the managed to put into the older toy. (Botcon Skorpornok had similar issues - much costlier in its nominal price but a far less playable toy). Blaster is looking absolutely superb I have to say. I'm kind of middle of the road on a lot of the rest of the line but he really caught my eye. Karl

We must all buy Blasters and link them together to demonstrate the base mode ramp feature!

But what are we going to do then when Hasbro releases the link bases? When we've linked all Blasters together. They do say grab your blasters on your way out.

Compare the leaked Blaster image with the Official Pic: A reminder of what Blaster looks like: Connecting ramps! Squeeeee! The same photo shows lots of the foot stands for the Headmaster toys. Micromaster footstand compatable? Where the blurrythings are we thought mightbe extra Headmasters is right on the locations where the foot pegs for the smaller figures are, so they were there all along. Note the one in the tower too! I'm admiring the ramps more and more. The connector there is a work of genius, something that will lock into itself and thus no need for male/female connectors of any sort.
