Dug this shot out to demonstrate that Blaster's handle is limited when it folds back and spotted something: There's 2 sets of ramp connectors on his bottom!

Heavy remould to me means new head, chest and legs. We know now how heavy some of these remoulds can be. I don't think Soundwave will look anything like Blaster.

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if Leaderclass Megatron and Seekers aren't in preperation for leader class TR Optimus and Soundwave.
More on topic, I have no real need for an oversized leader class Blaster given the Unique Toys Blaster is perfect, and no desire for an oversized Soundwave. But by golly this looks like such a fun toy, that I'll have to get it.

Leader class Optimus is revealed already.
I know you know that, I'm just reminding everyone because FUCK YEAH!

I admit I didn't catch onto this when TR was first revealed, but I really like the integrated "helmets" that allow for the universal headmaster gimmick, without giving the big guys pinheads. It kinda makes the idea of headmasters redundant in a way. Half the head is still part of the big toy, and when you swap heads, it's not gonna look a whole lot different. Optimus will end up with a mouth, and Galvatron a faceplate if you swap their heads, and that's basically all that will change it seems. (Of course, being literal block heads, it's not like the original headmasters looked a whole lot different when you swapped, either) But it's still a really clever way to deal with it.
I wonder if they made a way to retool the gimmick out in lue of a proper head for future non-headmaster uses?

I'm not sure I've wanted a test shot so much since I first saw Armada Overload and that looked the coolest thing ever.

Wonder if the drop in oil prices has meant Hasbro have been able to make the figures larger again?

Thats a good point, they were quick enough to blame oil prices for everything.

I'd usually be moaning at the first opportunity about scale, but to me somehow this doesn't matter. G1 Blaster was huge. What it does mean is that Soundwave will therefore be huge, which in turn suddenly makes it more appealing to have the Leader Megatron that didn't fit with anything a year ago. But then I think we saw that coming.
Hmm. It will diminish the impressiveness of the Combiners next to Deluxes/Voyagers to have to accept the new Leaders as part of the same toy line. I guess I'd not really thought about that. Powermaster Prime is fine as a leader, but I think in terms of the 'display' we're still missing a voyager Megatron.
Who else do we have confirmed in this new Leader/Base scale? Blaster, Soundwave, Powermaster Prime and any of the others?

Blaster and Soundwave are going to look too big along with TC, SW and SS. But as Pinwig says Blaster was a big toy so I dont mind that one so much.
PMOP, Magnus and Galvatron should look great alongisde pretty much any classics, barring maybe the combiners when combined.
The Megatron may or may not look out of place depending on whose stood next to them.

Am I the only one here who just puts toys where there is space and never gives any thought as to how they look together? I just don't care about it at all.
I must have that Blaster.

I must have that Blaster. -Ralph I don't really bother with sizing and scale, only if figures are supposed to be together. For example FOC Blaster, Soundwave and data disks are all from the same range so they sit together and it makes sense that they would be to scale. Something like the TR wouldn't bother me if they were all massive, those toys aren't really created from a specific era (like the G1 figs, movieverse, FOC etc), they're just massive versions of the characters. I wouldn't stand them next to each other and think 'Oh, this character should be bigger than this character, the scales all wrong.' What I'd think is 'How bloody cool are these massive versions of some of my favourite Transformers!!!'
