There are 292 stickers in this book! I must consult the archive, but surely this is the biggest SW sticker book yet. Tomorrow the hunt for actual sticker packets begins.

I tend to find the sticker packs are by the kiddy comic sections in Supermarkets.

Source located. Tenner's worth of stickers procured. Mass pack opening to commence. Why do things like this still excite me after all these years? I could probably tick a combiner off the wants list for what this is going to cost to complete.
But who cares!!!

OCD levels of concern regarding staple strength. I'm hoping the cover goes the distance. 6 stickers stuck! excite! first one in - Yoda's portrait shot.

But remember...sticker albums tend to get a bit tatty due to the weight of all the extra stickers. It's impossible to keep them pristine.

Yeah. But I'm an adult with a need for neatness and order. I'm the person who will put bulk sticker purchases in numerical order to reduce page turning while inserting them. My cover will not detach!
I also bought two albums because when I opened the first the cover had a vertical crease down the middle. Although that isn't as bad as it sounds given the starter pack is the same price as six packs of stickers, which it includes anyway. The album is free. That's how they get you...

Of the 26 packets I ended up with this weekend I've opened & stuck 18 of them, and am surprised to only have 5 doublers. I can see patterns in the stickers so I think the fastest way to do this is buy in bulk as runs of packets seem to equate to runs of numbers in the book. Might be wrong.
Anyway. I've got 9 and 47 spare, so I'll keep those aside if you still need them when we get as far as having enough to make it worth swapping.
These T stickers concern me. There's nothing in the book about their rarity, but if I've opened 18 packets and got none of them, how are you supposed to get 32?! Also - there's no love for episodes 1-3 in this is there! all the history stuff is from 4-6.

I have come across no T stickers so I am presuming they are in the Part 2 series of stickers. Splitting the stickers across two 'parts' released at seperate times is a clever way of keeping interest going as otherwise kids could get bored and stop collecting very quickly as doublers mount up. If you know new stickers are coming in Feb it makes you want to keep going!

Just Friday to get through before it's sticker fun time again. The draw of the Saturday pack opening has been a big motivator in getting through the week so far. How many packets to buy... Hmm

I think I'll just grab 10 packets soon. Worried that stores run out of pack 1 packs only to restock with part 2 packs.
THE QUEST IS THE QUEST.

Bought 20 today but not opened them yet. I expect I'll have a much higher number of doublers after I have though. The first 18 packets filled almost exactly half the number of stickers in part one (91 in, 89 to go). I'm reckoning that ratio will drop considerably now.

Big afternoon of sticking. Is your needs list above still accurate Doc? If so I can send you
9, 47, 60, 65, 79, 141, 152, 162, 220, 226, 246, 255, 282
in exchange for
2, 16, 30, 40, 71, 72, 80, 130, 133
I'm now at 140/190 of the Part 1 stickers after 48 packets. 50 to go and feeling it'll be costly work. I've a huge pile of swaps now. It's annoying they only let you buy 25 across both part 1 and 2, because we're effectively completing two separate collections here.
I have a feeling my missus will be receiving a packet from Topps in time as well as me so I can get 50, but that's a long way off as we have Part 2 to go yet!

In fact I think my parents and my sister might be receiving packets too. And the dog.

My list is accurate as I haven't bought any packs since. Sainsburgeries had sold out when I went in today and RS McColls had none on Thursday!
I shall put those stickers aside for you!

Bought my last packets today and had a surprisingly good hit rate. I only need 21 stickers now to finish the first half and you have three of those spare. That's close enough for me to stop and use the buying service at the end. So, to update the above:
I can send you: 9, 36, 47, 60, 65, 79, 85, 115, 141, 152, 162, 220, 226, 246, 255, 282 and have them put aside ready to send.
In return all I need is 16, 130, 133 unless you end up getting more spares.
My overall remaining needs for part one are:
1, 16, 19, 25, 26, 35, 37, 74, 82, 90, 91, 99, 122, 127, 129, 130, 131, 133, 163, 174, 273

Just bought the album on a whim.
If my maths are correct it is cheaper to keep buying albums for £2.99 and getting 36 stickers than it is to buy 6 packs for £3.00 getting only 30 stickers. Thats kind of odd. Especially as I dont really want the album, I have never finished one and dont want to spend the minimum of £30 to do so. I just want a big pile of stickers to stick on things.

The 36 stickers that come with the album include the ones fixed in with the staples, which I think are the same in every album as I bought two and they were. So the 3 quid really gets you six packs, so you could keep buying the starter kits getting free albums every time. Stupid thing is the six free ones in the album also come in packets.
If you want stickers to stick please just let me know. I've got a pile of spares I don't want. All the ones Ralph needs that I have are ready to send to him, but if you want the rest you're welcome to them. Quick count from my list says I can send you around half the stickers for part 1.

Mrs Pinwig understands my sticking fetish. She recently bought me the Ultimate Force Awakens DK sticker collection which contains over 1000 stickers! Rather usefully it names every character there's a sticker for. Rather unhelpfully as soon as you've peeled the sticker off, the name stays on the backing sheet and the sticker becomes nameless and stuck somewhere else.

Ah, fair enough, still the album with 6 packs is 1p cheaper than buying 6 packs individually. Thanks for the offer, right now I'm just in the novelty phase so Im alright, but if I reach the ocd stage I may come looking for what you have left. Just checked, but I dont have any you're looking for, but I still have another unopened packet lying around.
