Fairly sure one of the signs of the apocalypse is if Blueshift completes his Rock Lords collection.

Is Stun Stone still attached to you, Blue'?

Here's one for Gav! It's actually surprisingly hard to find a Marbles in good condition. Something about how he's made seems to make him want to rust / go gnarly more than others

I've had another go at Stun Stone's mechanism, he's now 3/4 working (he pops open and closed properly, but his head is missing a clip so needs to be manually closed)

So.... I dunno.... they're not robots are they? I mean, there's nothing mentioned there to suggest they're robots, more "living rocks", that can, perhaps, morph into humanoid forms.

Well Nuggit is definately a robot as he is a robot and has metal bits. Lots of other ones have clear robot bits too. They do transform! Basically they are very ill-defined. The story in the movie was 'an accident turned everything on the planet into transforming rock-based lifeforms' or something ridiculous!

Oh they do look like robots, don't they, deffinately.
And many rocks have metal in them!

Something else to add to my list!
I did own a Rock Lord, back in the day. A red crystal one. Actually I think my brother got it and I took it from him.

Steven Universe is a show about sentient space rocks, and what got me collecting Rock Lords In more exciting Rock Lord news I have the Stonewing jet. I just need: The horrible rock tumbler vehicle (There's one on ebay for £50, ha ha no) Narlibat Snarlie Narlie Fossilsaurus So all the hard and expensive ones! Also I need a non-yellowed Rock Roller! And maybe I can start thinking about weapons for everyone too, but geez!

It will be a difficult end though, those are all the tricky ones!
Not even seen a complete Fossilsaurus for ages on the uk ebay! Never seen a Snarlie Narlie! Saw a Batnarli once but someone had already BIN'ed it.

Right then. Rock Lords top five! Blue, which ones of these are any good? In no particular order Nuggit/SlimestoneI'm putting them together as they're both good for the same reason. ENTIRELY CHROME. Terrifying to transform due to this, but if you get one with no/little chrome wear (which is a challenge) they look gorgeous. Buying them on ebay is a huge risk as their under-plastic colour looks like chrome with camera flash in photos. Rock RollerHe looks hilarious. He also looks like he should be terrible but is oddly satisfying. His gimmick is actually awesome, it's a big hefty flywheel which means he just ROLLS in an unstoppable manner. SolitaireReally all the Jewel Lords are fab. Solitaire wins for me as 1) female character which is cool and 2) there's something satisfying in the way she transforms. SunstoneI'd put him twice actually. He's a Jewel Lord so is transparent, but also has a really really interesting and oddly satisfying transformation. It's clever. Rock ShotOkay, his transformation is a bit rubbish, but once you work it out, his rock throwing gimmick is great fun! Now you might think 'Blueshift is recommending all the WEIRD AND EXPENSIVE ONES'. Yes, but I am a weird and expensive guy. Out of the cheaper series 1 and 2 Rock Lords, Tombstone and Sticks'N'Stones are both oddly satisfying.

Bloody hell that was fast! You must really like these dudes. I still wasn't quite sure if there was some kind of satire going on.
Hmm. Have you really been amassing piles of these for Toy-Fu? Why is 2016 the year of the Rock Lord revival?

Bloody hell that was fast! You must really like these dudes. I still wasn't quite sure if there was some kind of satire going on. Well, I've always wanted a set of Rock Lords and never really had the motivation until I started getting into Steven Universe which set off the 'rock people' buttons in my brain. Hmm. Have you really been amassing piles of these for Toy-Fu? Why is 2016 the year of the Rock Lord revival? Nick said 'I want lots of Rock Lords' and I have been building my collection cheaply by buying lots rather than individual ones so I have a ton of spares anyway. 8 spare Magmars now! I... don't think he knows quite how crazy I have gone yet! 2016 is also the 30th anniversary of Rock Lords and the greatest animated film about transforming robots, Gobots: Battle of the Rock Lords (also TFTM but pfffffffff, no-one remembers that cheap cash-in)

Tombstone does look pretty good. I like him. Here's something no-one really talks about: There's actually a Tombstone colour variation in the Western release. The normal one has sparkly plastic. There is a rarer variant which still has sparkles but it's overall flatter. So not quite as good. Another good thing about Rock Lords is that all the screws are painted Here are my spares so far. Doesn't look that much but trust me, there's a scary amount. There's also a box I've not sorted through yet.
