Or should it. Should a character stay dead when they have been killed. Just seen Marvel are hinted a dead character is coming back.
How many characters have been killed & are back - meaning totally killed not just off panel fake death.
Optimus, Megatron, Unicron, Startscream, Captain America, Phoneix, Wolverine, Cyclops, (would you count Spider-man?) Kenny

Isn't it easier to list X-men (and their villains) who haven't died and come back? Certainly can add Magneto to that list. Did the Hellions come back?
Didn't know Harry Osbourne was back. Aunt May has died before.

The news that Aunt May who had passed away, Was a fake made me angry that day, A poignant and moving comic was undone, By Bob Harras, an EIC most meddlesome,

{Spoiler}The second poster which mentions a sting, It's got to be the Wasp a million fans sing, I care not as I grow weary of Marvel at this time, Something so sad I almost can't rhyme, Almost I said but I still have a spleen to vent, They are getting almost as bad as DC Entertainment!

Following today's Death of Wolverine sale I got thinking about Superhero deaths .....
I think killing your heroes only really became a thing in the 80s onwards, post Dark Phoenix.
Can anyone remember any superhero deaths from the 70s and 60s?
Thunderbird is the only one that really springs to mind. Apart from the it's supporting characters, like Captain and Gwen Stacy, or villains like The Green Goblin or Thanos (he might just be in the 80s)

Thanos was the 70's. Mind you in the wrap up to his story Adam Warlock was killed off...sort of.
