With currently on #4 (IDW #3) How do you think that the UK RID comic could go. If they have only signed up for 7 issues or plan to do RID UK only stories.
But I expect that would be highly unlikely - they would have had to get the first 2 months stories already written now.
I do expect that it could be a IDW reprint comic - but #4 of the comic is now titled RID & no just Transformers. If you check the rear few pages of the comic.
I do think a IDW reprint comic would work. But going back to 2005.

It does seem odd that it'll run out of steam just as we're likely to see season two appear, but given the short lifespan of comics these days I wouldn't be surprised if they knew from the start it would be a six issue run and that's all they're intending it to be. There isn't anywhere else they can take it without either stumping up for original content or changing the target audience to older kids for the other IDW books.

I hope we do find out - Hasbro could also use the comic to shift any stock of first wave Generations toys they might have laid around.

There are other non IDW RID comics out there. The bonus one from issue one was from a company that produce comics for Hasbro and other companies.
There are at least another five issues worth of material out there.
After that...well we shall see.

Like it or not the Transformers book in the UK has to be pitched to a younger demographic to shift units, the IDW books are not aimed at kids and many are flat out unsuitable. Andy

Which is quite sad really.

The same company that we had the bonus comic from #1. It hard finding a full list of what stories where done in that line. I expect most would not see print.

There isn't really anything to bad (wrong age group) in the first few series
Infiltration 3 kids discover the Transformers (not 3 kids - Armada flash backs)
The Transformers: Stormbringer Showing why Cybertron is a no go zone (also covered in TF Prime & Movies)
The Transformers: Escalation Covering undercover Machination events on Earth (touched on in TFP)
None of the Spotlights need to be printed because they only start tie-in with the comics from The Transformers: Devastation

It does seem ironic that so many Transformers toys (ie for children) are now based on comic designs from IDW issues which often, er, aren't suitable for children.
Hmmmm.

Just another week before we get close to seeing UK #5. But they don't really have a news section in the comic or anything online to give us a clue to what they are doing. But I just read IDW #0,1 last night & if you see clues in the story going back to TF#1. Decepticon attck & Autobot is taken back for repairs by the group of humans we are introduced to.

Hmmmm. -Ralph Yes, it is rather unfortunate. I miss that strand of kid-friendly action-adventure comic into which the original Transformers comic, GI Joe, Action Force etc fitted. There doesn't seem to be that same point on the scale these days. Karl
