It's 2017, c'mon designers, you're able to hide the Dino head in vehicle mode. But then, you couldn't hide the fists on Metroplex, so maybe this is a running feature like mini-cons or cyberkeys.

I will never ever understand why more expensive toys have stickers rather than tampographing when many lower priced toys have tampographing and no stickers (ie vastly superior finish for the toys). Why be charged more for an inferior product? Stickers were acceptable before tampographing was introduced but at no time thereafter and certainly not on three-figure toys in 2017. It's a deal-breaker for me.

On Deluxes two or three small tampographs add to the look and don't cost too much. The bigger toys have huge expanses of plain coloured plastic - you couldn't tampograph 50-100 details onto them for what a sheet of stickers costs, and without the stickers the toys look plain. I seem to recall Metroplex had over a hundred stickers, but the difference it made to the toy was phenomenal. Hasbro would never have put a hundred tampographs on him; it'd be impractical and too costly.
Personally, I also gain pleasure from applying them. Simple as that.

I also dislike stickers as some people have physical issues which means they are difficult to apply, so they get a poorer product.

 Trypy can stand like an actual dinosaur! Huzzah! My appreciation for this toy just went up by a lot! I mean I only ever considered him to be a kaiju, but Hasbro classes him as an actual dinosaur, and so do most fans. So it's really REALLY AWESOME that Hasbro kept this in mind. |
