2017 Titan vote www.facebook.com/transformers/photos/a.153259298077606.36631.146805978722938/926167814120080/?type=3So Hasbro have a vote on Facebook. But what does the HUB want the next Titan class figure to be? Here everyone can vote, and we can work out who is voting wrong and make them vote correctly. Who is up? Omega SupremePros: Sunbow Cons: The G1 toy is a thing of hate. He's grey and boring. There's no way they'll make his alt mode a rocket and tank and track and it will probably be a boat again. TrypticonPros: He's a dinosaur Cons: Just got a G1 reissue, even a Titan Class won't be that big due to how much bulk he'll have. Can you really improve on the G1 toy THAT much? ScorponokPros: It's Scorponok Cons: Literally none. SausagePros: Sausages are delicious Cons: A titan class box of sausages is a lot of meat. It will probably go bad quickly.

It is an an infortunate trend now that companies want you to use their social media feeds rather than their website. Easier for them to capture your data.

Very popular social media site. Can you suggest a better one? Their website. Absolutely. Put a link on Facebook by all means but don't force people to use it. I hate Facebook, and I hate it when companies want to spy on me or use me to advertise them to my family and friends.

I agree. Sadly Facebook dominates everything these days, but it'd be more inclusive to do it the way Blueshift says.
Gah. Look at that. I'm going to be robbed of a proper new Omega Supreme because Scorponok will win that vote hands down. Really, there's no way to lose with those three, a Titan of any of them would be awesome, but I can't see anyone other than Scorp winning that.
Also, that Powermaster Prime looks fupping awesome. When you think back to the luke-warm reception CW Prime got when he was unveiled, this is dancing in the aisles time. What a cracking looking figure! We really are having a Transformers renaissance at the moment. CW and TR are in a different league compared to the Generations toys of the naughties.

Though I think Trypticon is gonna be the one to beat, not Scorp. He's who I'd vote for.

I've always been suspicious of these polls, but I can't see them making a Trypticon. To be Titan height he would be enormously bulky. Cost prohibitive surely?

If it was Omega vs either of the cons the con would win, but I can see the two decepticons splitting their votes and allowing Omega to win. Its what kept happening with the Botcon Hall of Fame votes, the single Beast Wars character tended to win by getting all the BW votes while the G1 options split their votes.
To be honest if this is coming out at the tail end or not even that late, then Scorponok is the obvious choice even if I would mostly prefer a leader/Voyager class marvel comics version.
I'd love Trypticon, but Pinwigs right it is hard to imagine it being close to as tall as Metroplex with all its extra bulk. If its not matching up to Metroplex making it a titan seems pointless might as well make a a really cool Suprememe sized version instead.
Omega Im least interested in as a character, but it would make sense made at the smaller Devastator size and at that size and the titan price point I can imagine it having absolutely loads of great stuff going on including a base mode compatible with the other titan bases.

While they're doing Headmasters it makes most sense to do Scorponok. It's his time, it's now or never!!

I don't use Facebook so I can't vote but if I could I would vote for Omega Supreme. Then there could be a blue reclour version for Blueshift to buy! It would make him so happy.

They never even made a blue SCF PVC!!
I don't own the blue energon version either. Maybe I should. Maybe I should make a collection!

Eh I think an Omega vote is a waste. Hasbro love Omega Supreme. We'll get one eventually anyway. The fan vote is more to force things that Hasbro wouldn't tend to do.

Well, Hasbro/Takara.
Consider the evidence, m'lud. We've had the PVC and the reissue. We had Omega Supreme as the big ticket item in Energon and he got a repaint, something even Energon Prime never got. Also he got the giant Attackix figure. He was heavily featured in Fall of Cybertron stuff and got that classy more-G1 repaint/remold of the Energon mold recently. He was a big player in Sunbow, which Hasbro worships like Satan's teat. They're no way a new G1 Omega isn't on their cards ANYWAY, especially as we've had Metroplex and Fort Max, the other two giant Autobots, also showing that Hasbro are biased more towards giant Autobots as their big ticket items.

No! Scorp in no giant! How can he bitchslap his decepticons, then ask if he's good with his dying breath as Optimus cradles his melted ass in his arms, if he's a giant?

While I agree wholeheartedly, if Fort Max is giant then he is Sunbow Fort Max, thus Scorp should be to scale. However they don't say what size class it'd be do they? (Or do they?). It might be for a leader size toy.

A Scorponok. of those three I'd be ecstatic with any of them, they're all major characters in need of modern versions, but if I had to go for one it would be Omega. Although I don't think he needs to be Metroplex height. Something around CW combiner height would be right for me. Two most wanted proper updates: Shockwave and Omega Supreme.

It might be for a leader size toy. Five seconds of screentime in sunbow episode that was basically lost for twenty years, should not trump nearly thirty consistent years of storytelling. Only in a third of an episode in the cartoon was he a giant. Marvel, Dreamwave, IDW, and non G1 versions like BW and Energon have always been large, but ultimately normal sized decepticons. And the original toys weren't even remotely close to the same size (Scorp was barely taller than Max's knee), so anyone using the toy rivals argument doesn't really hold water, either. There's no logical reason for him to be a giant. It's not fictionally accurate, nor is it even really accurate to the toys. A TR leader class would do all the things everyone wants: big robot, big scorpion, base mode, headmaster.

Yes but fans go MAD over Sunbow (personally I don't at all, but for me the comics are G1 with the cartoon as this odd other thing that happened)

With your Titan class Scorponok you can reenact that classic Headmasters episode 'I Risk My Life For Earth' where they make a multi-story arc song and dance about finding Scorponok's weak spot, and then it turns out it's slap bang in the middle of his chest, handily marked by his Decepticon icon.
