Which is the series with the best end of series episode.
I've missed of RID because can anyone tell which is series 2 it all feels like one series. But it is better than Energon. Also missed Cybertron off because ep52 is the chopped up ep1.

RiD was just one series.
Also the correct answer is Masterforce

Aff! Aff! Blueshift speaks truth. Masterforce takes the top slot, and Beast Machines tags along in second.

For me, Victory takes the #2 spot. Not a show I really got on with, but an excellent finale. But the Masterforce ending is one I've watched again and again. The stuff leading up to it, and the final showdown is amazing stuff.

I cannot vote for it as there is no option but RID2001 for me has a great last run of episodes and the finest final shot of any TF show.

You see, I feel that they fumbled the end of RID2001. It was okay, BUT the original Car Robots version was better.
I mean I had no idea what was going on, BUT during the final Omega Prime/Galvatron battle, they were playing that MARIONETTE song rather than the generic techno stuff that the dubbed episode did, and I found it so out of place it was actually amazing.
And actually, as much as I loved RiD, I was upset they changed the soundtrack, as the Car Robots one was brilliant.

Ah here we go. Here's the Japanese one:
And here's the Western dub.
I think you'll agree with me! Also in the Japanese version, they reactivate Fort Max not by 'sending him 'energy' but with like, BURNING HEART SOUL OF INNOCENT CHILDREN JOY.

Let blueshift review all the endings so you know the correct way to vote: G1Rebirth is OKAY I GUESS. I never used to like it as I was racist against green Nebulans, but I had a friend who was OBSESSED with it (not Andy) and this made me love it again. HeadmastersThis is not good BURNIGN HEART FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE OF JUSTICE. But really the whole show is a bit like that, starts strong and then slowly turned a bit... boring. MasterforceLove this. 10/10 even the cheesy BURNING HEART OF JUSTICE bit because that actually works with the themes of the show for once (in that Devil Z wants to destroy humanity because he fears it; even though he beats Ginrai, Ginrai still gets up for another round to put DZ down because of his BURNING HEART VictoryProbably my second choice, it's a strong ending for a slightly boring (sorry) series. Well, the Starsaber/Deathsaurus fight is great at least. ZoneAs I am not racist towards Micromasters, I will write about Zone. I like the ending to Zone, the Autobot imperial march theme is great and is on my ipod. Beast WarsIt's okay. I felt series 3 was a massive step down from 2 but the ending regained some of the energy even if it was a bit predictable. Beast Wars 2Not seen it! I've only ever seen the cartoon bit of the movie. Beast Wars NeoNot seen it! I'm sure there's burning hearts and stuff Beast MachinesI actually rather liked this. I mean yes it sucks as a Transformers show and a Beast Wars sequel, and watching all two seasons in one go helped the pacing a lot; as its own thing it works fine. Robots in DisguiseAs discussed, I love the original Car Robots J-Pop BURNIGN HEART ending, not as keen on the dub which I feel removed a lot of the energy and joy from it (and yet they got so much right. Somewhere out there is a perfect version which fuses both!) ArmadaEnd of Armada was fabulous. I think it was mostly accidental, but it's a happy accident. Like me Energonno CybertronNo idea. I actually found Cybertron unwatchable. Literally. Every single aspect of it. Can't believe it made it onto broadcast televsion, it felt like some teenager's awful fan production. AnimatedIt had a nice solid ending that wrapped most parts up, but felt like a show that really needed another season or two to reach its full potential. PrimeDidn't like Prime at all, the series ending was awful with those annoying kids and dumb fight and everyone eating the idiot ball, but I enjoyed the Predacons Rising movie that finished the whole thing off a hell of a lot more than I thought I would. Mostly for doing interesting stuff with Knock-Out. RescuebotsIt... it's still airing and so doesn't have a finale?? RiDSame.... ?? But the end of season 1 was horrible, so...

G1Rebirth is OKAY I GUESS. I never used to like it as I was racist against green Nebulans, but I had a friend who was OBSESSED with it (not Andy) and this made me love it again. See I'd argue that The Rebirth is more an epilogue/sequel and the true end to G1 is probably more The Return of Optimus Prime. Prime's death in the Move and his near resurrection in Dark Awakening is the closest Transformers has to an ongoing storyline so Return of OP gives it it's obvious closure by bringing him back, although not in the Powermaster body as the video cover deceived me into thinking!

Phil, Phil, Phil. The ending of a show is when the last episode aired. The last episode of Sunbow is The Rebirth part 3.
Blueshift is wrong. RID pees all over Car Robots' ending.

Looking at that list has made me think in terms of finales... actually, they're all a bit crap aren't they?

I was about to say that I can't agree with that but I realised that about seven of Blueshift's list I haven't actually seen the end of. Actually, since Robots in Disguise I haven't been sufficiently been motivated to reach the end of any of the shows. Some I slogged on quite a way with the "Won't. Yield. Ground." gritted teeth - getting halfway through Energon was a surprisingly similar experience to finishing Gundam 00 (but with less actively hoping that the "goodies" and "baddies" would wipe each other out in the interests of all the likeable characters) - others I just bailed out of swiftly and elegantly (Cybertron, ah, Cybertron). And then there was Animated - lovely design aesthetic, some nice energy to the animation style, but the actual series seemed to just be sliding down a helter-skelter away from any of the interesting elements of its premise more and more as the second season went on (and I only managed two episodes of the final season before apathy overtook me).
I supposed technically I should say six not seven NuRiD hasn't ended, and I haven't actually seen a full episode yet anyway, so it is exempt from any judgement.
I'd say that in terms of satisfying and fulfilling finales that pay of the themes of the series you've got - Masterforce, Beast Machines, Beast Wars, Victory, Robots in Disguise.
Headmasters pays off its themes, but isn't actually very good (as opposed to Victory, which delivers the Robots Punch Each Other knock-down drag out which the rest of the series is vamping in the lead-up to.)

Cybertron enters a new golden era. The war sort of ends. At least it has a rough feel of a finale to a long running show. -Ralph

'The Return of OP' has more closure than 'The Rebirth', as it ends with a note of respect from Galvatron, and a ceasefire, and a resolution to reacquire the wisdom of the Matrix. 'The Rebirth' ends with a whole new Decepticon army at large vowing to rule the Galaxy. A comparison of Galvatron's last line in each episode makes 'Return' by far the better ending in my book.

I had left all Japan stuff out because I've not seen any apart from the VictoryMF set pack we got. SO just sticked to Uk aired stuff. I expected to see votes for Beastwars with how much it got Transformers back & the series ends where good

I don't think I can vote. Hate Sunbow with a passion. So I'll never vote for that. Not seen the end to any japanese series save true RiD, and aside from "goodguys beat badguys" and "skybyte wins all," I don't remember it because Disney's possession of the series fucked everything up stateside. It got released over there and in austrailia, but I'm screwed here.
A DO remember BW, BM, Animated, and Prime. Prime doesn't deserve to exist. But the other three are about equal, with BW being the least satisfying. BW left too many open ends, that BM never followed. BM wrapped itself up very splendidly. Animated wrapped everything up, and also felt satisfying, while leaving a pleasant open end "to live on in our hearts."
If you make me say something nice about the Prime finale, then fine. It put an end to one of the bottom three worst TF written TF series of all time. (The other two are Sunbow G1, and Energon)
So I'm actually super torn between BM and Animated. With BW a very close third.

That was in the last episode! It started out with proper Transformers who were inexplicably hiding in human shells (hello? The point about your alt mode is that that's the disguise!) But they got forgotten after about ten episodes and the rest of it was all humans pretending to be Transformers until about the last ten episodes when it actually got good and started feeling like a cartoon about giant robots.

See, I'm fine with that, as the whole theme of the series was about humanity's place in the wider scheme of things. You had Hawk, who fervently believed in humans and Earth. You had Sixknight who while a good guy, really did not. Devil Z's entire motivation was that he feared the limitless potential of humanity. Buster and Hydra were desperate to escape their humanity while the Decepticon Headmaster Jrs (and frankly Ginrai) had to find theirs.

I don't deny that it's the deepest and most thought provoking of the series; it's a fine show and I got very caught up with the ending, but to me it just wasn't Transformers.
