It seems of late people are getting more relaxed with their choice of words in their posts and swearing is becoming the norm, rather than the exception.
Anyone else noticed this? Should we add more words to the swear filter? Do I just have a stick up my butt?

I haven't noticed an uptick in swearing. I generally try to use comedy alternatives.

I tend to stick to comedy alternatives but use the real deal if reinforcing a point. Rather like real life I suppose. Everyone has their own tolerance levels but I haven't noticed a change.

My brother in his formative years would find great pleasure in standing next to old ladies looking in store windows on the high street and saying this quite audibly. Not to them per sae. He was an interesting chap, with many a jape that pushed the boundaries of conventional mid-90s social standards. |

The former, as the joke has gotten to the point that the character can't be mentioned without it being dragged along... and he's one of the strongest characters in the entire TF mythos.
