Con Island is on this morning but skyguide still says it Overloaded part 1,2 - but the advert clips are missing - the bit where it says TF RID before & after the ads - but we have had the credits to part one uncut.
Con island part 1 - you could say thats Rumble & Frenzy in the corrdior - we see red & blue cons.

As much as I appreciate that they are trying new things and it isn't Megatron #1458, I just can't take Steeljaw seriously as the Big Bad villain. He strikes me more as the mid season 1 comedy underling who's overstretching himself.
I like that he spent a great deal of the finale attempting to sell the concept of the transparent clip-on armour. What a trooper!

That is bound to be a new Hasbro toy release then. But how many times we see the ball mini-con in 2.3 - Hasbro have lots of repainting to do

Up to date now. I enjoyed season two as much as I did season one. I've argued the case before, but if you're ignoring this on the grounds it isn't 'proper' Transformers, you're doing it and yourself a disservice. It's a great idea and a fun show.
I really like the inventiveness with the Decepticons. It's a pity there are a load there that will never get toys. General Stockade was what, a badger? brilliant.

It just didn't click for me. I don't think it's bad, just sort of stuff happening on screen. I think, like Cybertron, I like the idea more than the execution. I mean, I like that they are trying to mix it up and it's not yet another G1 redux Optimus vs Megatron zzzzz, but Steeljaw is in no way the major chief villain the show makes you want to think he is. I like the design of the crab guy. I saw a toy but it was tiny. |

He isn't a brilliant chief villain, I agree, but then he isn't really supposed to be. In the way Bumblebee isn't leader of the Autobots. Bee in this is a lieutenant in charge of a small detachment and Steeljaw just happens to be the most respected of the prisoners on the ship that crashes on Earth. When they wanted an uber villain to match up to Prime they brought Megatronus in. Steeljaw's kinda the first step on Bumblebee's path to becoming a bigger character.

The US are getting ep 2.14 soon. But with all the series 3 stuff - should this be series 3.1?
... because they don't seem to have updated the details? Are we getting upto 2.19 then series 3? ? ?

Skyguide online says its 1.22 for both days. I guess this is wrong, it should say 2.14

End of series 2 on this morning 1 week before the US get it. the animation is a lot better in this series 2.2 compared to series 1 & 2.1
