And to kick us off, a song about a 'Space Beaver':
What I've seen of BWII is great fun though as yet not been able to rack down the full series. The movie is by far the best of the 3 TF movies. Oh yes it is.

I still remember watching that movie at your place and being so bladdered the subtitles for Majinzarak looked like Martinzarak to me.

Andy Ah yes, the Beast Wars II movie did bring us a lot of entertainment that day. It is a lot of fun to watch whilst sober as well. I've a lot of time for "Beast Wars Second" in general - it doesn't take itself particularly seriously, recognising the inherent absurdity of "alien robots that turn into animals" and having a bit of fun with it. (How can you not like a show where the Destrons come up with a plan to get the Cybertrons drunk and then attack them whilst they are squiffy?) Considering it's budget it was quite well animated too. I've only seen the first twelve or so episodes and the movie, wish I had seen more of the show to be honest. Karl

I have yet to see an episode of Beast Wars II. At all.
I did have an official VHS tape of the first four episodes of Beast Wars Neo, but never managed to get through an episode without falling asleep. Not from boredom, it was just strangely hypnotic.

Clearly, TMUK must do a Star-style dub of BWII.

What hilariously inaccurate names can be given to the BW2 cast, I wonder?

Karma tastes like cake!
Second ep's up now, too. Apparently the first ep of BW Neo is in the works, but I spoke up and suggested that they stick to BWII after that.

Is the original version any good? Or Beast Wars Neo?

Does anyone know of a good source for decent quality Beast Wars II/Neo episodes? I have a curious inclination to watch some of them.
I did have the first Neo VHS release from 1999, but I don't have the means to watch it. And I never watched it when I first had it either, since I was getting the CR DVDs by that point. But anyway.
If anyone can help, then please let me know.

You could always go the fan dub route which is a nice effort, though some of the voices are awful (like Big Convoys) and they ignore all the original music to insert STAN BUSH or oddly ARMADA soundtracks in there www.tfcog.com/

I would imagine that fan-dubs take a lot of time and effort to create. So why have they chosen to give Big Convoy the same voice as Patrick from Spongebob?

I've seen VHS rips of BW Neo (36 eps) lurking around on various torrent sites if that helps.

A few episodes of both series are on youtube. They're the only way I know of to see the series. I'd be all over a commercial release like a rash so I can see it all!

It's never been released on DVD anywhere, as far as I know. Youtube might be your best bet for subbed episodes.

Thanks Doc, but Youtube only have a couple of episodes up. I heard a rumour that someone somewhere had managed to sub the entire series.

There was a VHS release of at least some of Beast Wars II in Japan as I recall, but I'm not sure whether it was the whole series or not. As far as DVD releases goes I'm not aware that it has had one, and that wouldn't have carried English subtitles anyway as it hasn't been licensed for any major English speaking regions I don't think.
(A couple of fansubbing groups were working on it and Neo at one stage but I don't know how far they actually got).
