went to see this tonight, really enjoyed the film would've been one of my favorites if not for the last 10-12 minutes. I just didn't personally like the ending.
Anyway the transformers link - the main guy in it(if you've seen it or trailers its the big guy who owns the bunker) voices Hound in Age of Extinction!!

I saw it last week.
I *loved* Cloverfield. One of my favorite movies.
But this, while not a bad movie, just didn't work for me. It seemed like two completely different movies mashed together.
And it also drudges up memories of the horrible Ariel Castro incident.

This film originally was a script called 'The Bunker' which had nothing to with Cloverfield the movie until acquired by Bad Robot Productions. I enjoyed it though my only problem was the title killed any sense of 'what is going on?'. Well, you know what is going on!

Was pretty disappointed with this film, based on really liking Cloverfield and not enjoying this one. Bit like the 'sequel' to Monsters, which didn't continue any of the themes or elements of the first film.
