I'm dyslexic, and thought that would allow toys with 5mm sockets to hold Metroplex's weapon.
I think I would prefer that. Give Wheelie Metro's giant gun.

BUT IT IS A STUNTICON! ILLEGAL OPERATION! SPECIAL TEAMS CANNOT INTERMINGLE WITH OTHER SPECIAL TEAMS! . Incorrect. Extensive testing shows that it is indeed possible. Indeed here in the Falkirk Cluster we have observed examples of teams trading off members, such as the Protectobots trading Blades to the Aerialbots in return for Alpha Bravo serving an exchange tour as a Hostage Rescue adviser. I think there may actually be a mistranslation in the Book Of Combination where it concerns the ancestral combiners. There is a school of thought that the Quintesson source we have for "They do not combine with another" is actually a mistranslation of a Garudan word meaning roughly "will not to" (or decide against). The problem is that as the source is ancient High Garudan, and the version we have is missing the intervening Tarkarian it is very difficult to verify one way or another... Karl

Plus Dragstrip has handy sword storage, that doubles as a devastating weapon to kick with. He has a sword shin.

I've ordered some of those feet (& hands) for Menasor. Come to papa!

It is indeed interesting news to learn that there is a test site hidden in deepest Falkirk where combiners are freely exchanging limbs, although I do feel the Autobots are more likely to participate in such practises than Decepticons. However, are we sure this was happening in the name of increasing diversity in teams? Or were the Aerialbots secretly just trying to palm Alpha Bravo off on someone so Quickslinger could move in?

My feet and hands for Menasor have arrived! Very good quality. Everything's nice and tight. Except, the forward/backward movement on the ankle conector bit (the peg that fits into your leg Stunticon) is a bit free-moving. So Menasor, although far more stable than his original feet, still like to fall over. I got the feet for the added stability, they're better, but not perfect.
The hands though are awesome! Really nice. Nice stiff fingers. I got the set for the feet, but I'm more pleased with the hands!
Now, there were no instructions, and it looks like the hands and feet transform into something. Weapons is it?

I don't own one of those sets, just the body kit. However it looks like you do something like this:

I haven't tried the smaller hand guns, but my feet have come apart, so I have tried them as guns. Mine seem to be a mm or two short, so don't fit properly to be held as a gun. I haven't bothered trying to fix it, as I got them as feet not knowing they became guns.

Yes same here.
Mine came with two extra silver gun-end bits....
Nice big chunky feet.

Do yours clip together at the back of the feet?

No records of a being called Quickslinger being resident in the Falkirk Cluster can be found. He certainly isn't on the active roster of the defense force. As to Decepticons being less likely to practice Scramble Protocols, evidence suggests that the renegade Galvatronus has recruited three if the New Combaticons, and possibly one of the New Stunticons as his henchmen, so it seems to be a practice of them as well. Do yours clip together at the back of the feet? Yes there is a little clip at the back. Not substantial, but the feet hold together well.

Cerebros gets entirely new loweer legs and Metroplex gets new hands, plus detachable cannons. I think thats right anyway. I was playing spot the diference for a good couple of minutes before figuring that much out.

It's about time we saw something like that, but they look a bit small to me. I remember Wheeljack's should canons to be Ginormous.

Ooh, those are tempting. This third wave is going to be so good, three brilliant looking figures.
Thinking about it, I did purchase the PE hands and feet set for Computron to beef up my Takara one a bit in Kapow's sale. They were as cheap as the KOs so it seemed worth a go. I don't have any of the PE sets, but Nonnef seems to have stopped making CW accessories now so there wasn't a lot of choice.

Came across these double-ended posts on Shapeways recently: 5mm Double-ended posts could be quite useful in some cases I think for attaching additional weapons to vehicle modes and things. Then it struck me that I have a huge amount of ordnance floating around from Yamato and Arcadia Macross stuff, due to their habit of including between two and three full loads of assorted wing-mounted ordnance with every release in their 1/60th line. Which reminded me of these wot I had seen on Shapeways. I'd been planning to get some of these to attach to things like my old 1/72nd VF-11 and my Bandai VF-17 so that they could have some underwing ordnance. But it occurs to me - take the 5mm double-enders, cut and sand down one end a bit and attach one of Kurisama's Yamato/Arcadia hardpoints to it... Bingo, a way that things like the CW aerialbots, Classics Decepticon jets, CW Jetfire and so on and so forth, can carry the excess ordnance. Bifors High Maneuver Medium Range Missiles for Thrust, two pairs of Reaction Missiles snugged under Jetfire's wings, Skydive with a couple of UMM-7 Mini-missile pods... This idea definitely has some potential I think. Karl
