Still watching this. It's been sporadic because the Who Blu-rays tend to take priority, but I just got as far as 'A Christmas Miracle'
WTF! That is disturbing on many levels!

Even if that was a dream, what does that tell you about Ninestein's subconscious? He treats Zero worse than ever, orders everyone else around, cancels Christmas and sacrifices most of his 'army' needlessly, and then to top it all is seduced by Zelda!

I remember seeing it when it first aired. All out war between Earth and Zelda, with lots of characters dying, not very Christmassy at all!

It was only when the battletank blew up that I thought, oh this is a dream, right, but I wasn't expecting MARY FALCONER COPPING OFF WITH YOUNG STAR.
WHAT. SICK MAN, NINESTEIN. SICK.

But Neinstein is always a prick so this is on form for him. If you want to be really disturbed, you want the episode with the birth scene. -Ralph

Yes, but he's not usually that bad. He's dismissive of Zero but hasn't gone as far as basically ordering his death!

Watching Midnight Blue. Kate's singing about International Rescue!
Were her songs ever released as records?

The show songs are lost to time and not known to exist anymore. Network had a look but to no avail.

That's a pity. There's some quality 80s pop tat there. Would make a good record.
Very silly episode. Reminds me of the Father Ted "it's not small, it's just far away" joke.

Play it Again, Sram.
This is magnificent nonsense.
"He would have done better if he was List"
Ha!
Dix-Huit: Why isn't there a French song? Zero: It wasn't very good.

My Kingdom for a Zeaf
This is tonally bananas. Let's go back in time, abduct Richard III, send him into Anderburr Records as a spy because he's less obvious than Young Star and then five minutes later kill Kate and have Mary in tears.
What is going on?! Along with the Christmas episode there's such a shift in tone in this series in the middle of season two.

Space Giant's a bit much isn't it? How did they get away with all that? Torturing caged animals with electric shocks, then all out slow motion blood flying across the screen as Kate guns down the giant Sporilla?! Did Sam Peckinpah direct this one?!
Almost finished. Two left of the 39, then onto Big Finish.

Also, if Cy-Star is Zelda's sister, why does It-Star call Zelda Grandmother?

I've come to the end of the TV run and have started on the Big Finish episodes. I loved Cry UFO, Stew deserved a spotlight episode. Cold Finger and Operation Zero were cool too, possibly due to the absence of It Star who gets a bit overused in season 3 in place of Zelda's revolving cast of aides. I was surprised to see Hawkeye reappear in the last episode as he's been missing all season. It's also nice that clean versions of some of Kate's songs are used over the photo montages in the extras.
Big Finish have the tone right for these too. Tongue in cheek humour and stories that suit the series. I also like the way they explore a little without breaking the format, like episode 3 where Zelda goes after Ninestein's other clones. Terrahawks really plays safe with its format; I don't like it when Big Finish really go beyond the bounds of the series they remake, but Terrahawks has scope for going more into the characters.
Have the Look-In strips ever been collected?
