Picked up that first issue and was quite impressed. Very different tone and style to what I was expecting, but it did keep one of the things I love about Hawkeye as a character - his ability to dig himself deeper and deeper into trouble all the while he is trying to dig himself out.
Comixology have had a few quid out of me the last few days:
First there was their 69p Marvel Now sale which I used to buy up some more early issues of stuff I'd got freebies of previous. Now their £3.99 DC trades have taken £40 off me for some all time faves and a few things I've been meaning to read.
Ralph is back on the digital comics train and has restored his Comixology account and re-acquired some of the library. A year mostly away from comics has given me the urge again (all hobbies need a break). Also after many clear-outs of physical comics it's the only way to get my fix. I was getting back into physical comics but inevitably I run out of space and have to charity shop them or recycle.
Fans of this thread stay tuned to see if/when Ralph flip-flops again over what he thinks of digital comics.
