Alas the sound on the first original episode is off. Very tinny. Sounds like the 5.1 mix is being broadcast but not all the channels are right. Argh.
Ads are being broadcast over scenes!!!
The first 2015 episode was fine.

The mixture of physical models and 3D animation works really well. It's also really well written. I love the fact they keep the launch sequences the same each episode. You can imagine that getting repetitive for a modern auduence, but as soon as that music kicks in the hairs on my neck stand up every time. I bought the soundtrack CD the arrangements are so good.

Twitch has now geoblocked the Thunderbirds stream so it can't be seen in the UK!!!
What a two-fingered salute. So why advertise the whole stream as being available worldwide???
So the UK audience can't see the 2nd episode from 2015...which was made in the UK.
The Official Gerry Anderson FB page is also not happy. Can't blame them!!! They had previously been dropping trivia into the Chat stream and politely replying to queries about the show. I imagine they are having Firm But Fair words with Twitch, especially as they promoted the event for them.

It was for backers only on Kickstarter. I think the stream yesterday and today is their first broadcast and also the first way non backers of the Kickstarter can view them.

That Thunderbirds Twitch stream may have been plagued with problems but it has reawakened my love of the Anderson shows.
