Those look quite fun. I like the interchangeable car/head modules and the Sentai-ish combination schema.

A chainsaw wielding red mecha. I'm sure it is perfectly friendly...

These are just such a weird concept. That's not a complaint, I really like it. It's a fresh and unique take on the giant sentai/transforming mecha genre.
It combines the usually popular mecha genre/toys, with the always popular hotwheel type toys. Why Hotwheels are popular, I believe, is I think most kids universally anthropomorphize their miniature car toys. I certainly did, and every kid I knew did. And I think this is why Gobots was wildly popular, and why Transformers has it's staying power, and why Cars keeps going and going and going and going. (Meanwhile so many other similar robot stuff like Gundam never caught on with kids in the west, the way Bandai hoped) And this seems a natural extension of that. And it approaches it in a fun power rangerish way.
I really wish these would get a stateside release.

I saw a lovely PDF on how the combination works the other day and can't find it now.
V tempted to buy one.
