I can absolutely see the appeal of doing a team book now they've got this shared Universe. But you think they'd put some better know characters in there... Really Kup is the big name star. Amusing second stringer superhero teams only really work in a context when there's the JLA or Avengers in the same Universe...
And IDW Blackrock can fuck off. He wasted so much time in Ex-RID talking Spike grew a beard during one of his speeches. Complete pace killing character.

Picked up the first issue via Comixology. Given the current price model - digital comics are now cheaper than the print version.
It's not a very engaging story, art is very nice. I'm not going to be back for Issue 2.

How confusing are these IDW Hasbro Uni comics? So with the first strike stuff we have the Optimus Prime comic getting 2 issues but MTMTE isn't included this time

I'm having the same problem. I can see the value in publishing Prime: First Strike and the TF First Strike one-shot as a bridge from Revolutionaries to the First Strike series, but it's just confusing now that the storyline has finished. Both stories seem fairly superfluous to First Strike (admittedly I've only skimmed read them), though I'm sure the whole Centurion/Mike Flowers thing is building to something at a later date.

I've not read any IDW stuff since the Rev 3 issue one shots. That does include Lost Light / Optimus Prime #1 onwards
