So. My two computrons came in completely independently of each other today. (These two fuckers are a big part of why I've been so strapped for cash the last month)
So let the bloodbath begin!
Scattershot-
UW wins hands down for the new tooling AND THAT FUCKING SILVERBOLT GUN IS GONE HOLY FLYING FUCK, but CW has by far the best deco. The paint is more extensive, and generally more pleasant to look at.
-Draw
Strafe-
CW's new tooling on Airraid is clever. It has one of the best head sculpts on a TF toy ever.
UW has a fairly bland deco, and like UW Groove, this new mold is not very good. Not having Blastoff, I don't know if it's the mold, or if the new tooling brings it down. (It does have better wings than CW)
Neither has an accurate deco, but I feel CW's looks nicer in it's light grey and candy red, instead of the gleaming bright white and deep scarlet of UW.
CW also has a more faithful vehicle mode.

Afterburner-
Awful mold. New tooling is not great. Looks NOTHING like Afterburner. I agree with phil, if any technobot needed a new mold, it was him.
But CW has an actually accurate deco.
-CW wins, but it's like comparing a turd to a slightly shinier turd.
Lightspeed-
CW uses the better of the two car molds, but UW's is more accurate using the wheeljack version of the bad car. Also new head sculpt is nice and HOLY FUCK THEY FINALLY GOT RID OF THAT FUCKING GOD AWFUL FUCKING SWORD GUN FUCK!
*achem* ...yeah. CW has a really inaccurate but REALLY nice deco. Much superior to UW's bland deco.
Neither mold's vehicle is even close to Lightspeed, though.
-I'd say draw. Good mold with no new tooling and a really nice deco, vs a terrible mold that manages to do a surprisingly decent job and gets rid of it's awful weapon. I'd say this would come down to personal preference. (I prefer UW as Lightspeed, but prefer CW as a toy)
Nosecone-
This is a pretty big surprise.
UW's is a lot less impressive in person. He has an incredibly inaccurate deco, while the really clever new parts don't make him feel any less like Rook in cosplay.
CW, while using the most flawed mold in recent years and receiving no new tooling aside from that pathetic "drill," performs a bit more strongly than expected (as long as you completely ignore the vehivle mode), while Rooknose underperforms. After all, CW actually has a proper and accurate deco, while UW's caramel colors come out of the blue.
But UW does make a much more convincing drill tank, while CW looks like a normal tank where someone gutted the barrel out of the turret, and stuck a drill on it's ass. Which is exactly what it is. I mean, really hasbro? It's genuinely pathetic.
-UW wins by a longshot, hands down. But the race was way closer than I anticipated.
As a whole though, each set offers things the other doesn't.
CW gives us new hands, feet, and most importantly SCROUNGE WHY THE FUCK WOULD ANYONE NEED ANOTHER REASON OTHER THAN SCROUNGE IT'S FUCKING SCROUNGE WE GOT FUCKING SCROUNGE

And UW does give us some really great and badly needed new weapons though.
I'd say the two are about evenly matched.
But Scrounge pulls it to CW.
