I don't see c-clips being mutually exclusive to 5mm posts.
But if I had to chose one of these play pattern gimmicks, 5mm posts are the most versatile

I remember a time, a long time ago now as the crow flies and I was a different man then, when I was in the tent of a warlord who asked his allies "What was best". They all had different answers but the one that stuck with me was the warlords rebuttal. He turned to his favourite gladiator slave and asked him. The man's answer was:-
"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women."
I wonder what happened to that gladiator. I always suspected he would die a brutal death. Or perhaps make himself king of some land. I must pop back one day and find out what did happen.

Ok, my answer to the actual question this time.
None of the above, because they are solving different problems. Ramps are a terrible way to secure a Mini-con to an arm for additional firepower, but likewise a 5mm or 3mm peg is a poor tool for driving up into a repair bay. 5mm and 3mm pegs are excellent for stowing existing weapons or attaching additional heavy weapons to, 3mm clips are ideal for securing small calibre armaments to bars and improvised hardpoints.
None of them are better than each other because they are for different things.

All are good, all have their place. A good ramp on a base is mint. But 5mm pegs are the most generally useful.
