Oh my godfathers most incredible dream ever last night. I dreamt I met a bunch of you guys in person. We met in some kind of a community centre or church hall. There was dancing, for some reason. The kind of shit dancing you did at youth club discos when you were a kid. Then we sat down and started chatting, but about Battlestar Galactica not Transformers. I was sat next to Pinwig, and there was a momentary awkward silence between us. We both laughed and I asked "how shall we break this awkward silence?". Pinwig replied- "We'll talk about when you break wind and it sounds like a human voice." I WOKE UP LAUGHING! I LAUGHED IN MY SLEEP AND WOKE MYSELF UP LAUGHING! I'M LAUGHING NOW THINKING ABOUT IT!!!! WHEN YOU BREAK WIND AND IT SOUNDS LIKE A HUMAN VOICE!!!!!!! This just reminded me that during my ill time while Shockprowl was dreaming of Hub meet ups, (no need to dream, they are real!) I was bingeing The Expanse and as is the way I began dreaming about The Expanse a bit (not as much as my months of Napoleaonic Wars dreams while reading all the Sharp books, but I digress). In one of them (one of those sprawling fever dreams that you can never remember the start of) I walked out of a room or an alley and at the front of a crowd was a guy. He looked suspicous and some how I knew, this, this was Shockprowl. Then I woke wondering why SP was following me. Fever dream me must feel more guilty about the slow chess than awake me. |

Andu and I were trapped in a giant house. Pinwig kept leaping out from behind doors to try to stop us finding the banqueting hall where they were handing out free cake. Then Andu said: "Watch this naughty video" but it turned out to be of a physiotherapist showing how to do forward rolls, but backwards up the side of an extinct volcano. -Ralph You actually wrote Twin Peaks didn't you. |

I had a very weird dream last night. I dreamt I was on a raodtrip with Peter Capaldi. We were driving somewhere, in this country, going to go see something, or some event, I don't think what it was was actually ever revealed.
We chatted like friends, but friends who hadn't been friends for long. We arrived at a hotel, parked (Peter was driving) and walked up to the hotel reception which was up a very steep hill. We ran up the hill and despite me having a headstart Peter beat me to the top.
Then there were lots of walking around narrow hotel corridors trying to find my room. Peter wasn't there during this. I think my room was 239... there may have been a 6 in there somewhere... I couldn't find my room and asked some cleaners. The cleaners just seemed to mumble at me.
Then I was at dinner in the hotel with a Chinese woman, who I knew as well. Peter was still (disappointingly) absent. I don't think he reappeared after this point. I don't remember much else about dinner.
Then I was in bed in the hotel and I heard-
"Sssss you're breathing very loudly."
I heard this as a 'real' sounding voice, not in a 'dream' voice. As though someone was speaking to me from outside of the dream. I heard it again-
"Sssss you're breathing very loudly."
I was unnerved by the sound of this voice; it was a spooky whisper, and an unfamiliar sounding voice, so I woke myself from the dream. I found I was in bed in a completely different position to how I was in the dream with my arms folded.
So, a bit of a disturbing end, but I enjoyed hanging out with Peter Capaldi.

Errrm, he was just being normal, I don't think he was playing a part, but I don't know him personally so he could have been playing a part for all I know.
He enjoyed beating me running up the hill. Smug bastard. (Maybe that's why I ditched him for the Chinese woman.)

I had a dream last where I'd bought the most recent Generations Cyclones and Scourge.
Except I kept buying the wrong Cyclonus.
I -think- I kept going back to the shop where they had them on display or something, that part is quite hazy.
But the Cyclonus I kept buying wrong really reminded me of the catalogue drawings of the Omnibots from way way back. It was like a Cyclonus in the style of the old 80s Onnibot catalogue pictures.
I have really clear images of Scourge's head and face sculpt, which I remember being mildly impressed with when I saw the figure in person in a Smyths I popped in randomly, like, a month ago.
I have no interest in Cyclonus or Scourge.
I only think about the Omnibots when you people bang on about them in excited ways.
I CAN'T STAND THE CONFUSION IN MY MIND!

So I had a dream where I wrote a Marvel Comics fanfic where the Avengers had to fight the Slingers (remember them?) as they had gone evil. Posted it to the Hub, but Martin got angry as there weren't any Transformers in it, so I had to write a new opening and closing.
In the new bits, it turns out that the big TV Shockwave was watching at the start of Marvel US TF #5 was a 'Time TV' and he was watching the superhero fight on that.
But then Matt said it was a rip-off of The Doctors Time-Space Visualiser from 'The Chase', so he had to fight Phil who loomed out of a storm like the Master in the Doctor's dream at the start of 'The Time Monster'.
Matt fell down a crack to Hell.

Just woke up from a dream where Toy-Fu Nick said we all had to go to the top of a giant tower in Dubai. We were to ride our bicycle at the edge along thin planks of wood arranged in squares at right angles.
Bogatan went first but fell off to his doom so Toy-Fu Nick ordered us all to a giant library to do degrees about bikes.
We had to run through a maze to get in but then everyone was sucked into space except for me as I dug a tunnel to the centre of the Earth. Then we were all suddenly at the Toy-Fu tables but in Colditz Castle in 1944.

Recurring dream during the night. It kept repeating, even if I got up for the loo then went back to bed.
We were on the Saturday zoom call and Andu found secret orange CD-ROMS hidden within a lot of new toys. He said they revealed instructions for how to make a secret combiner.
Every time he said this, Phil would intone: "I am not interested in this combiner" with the same inflection Judge Dredd used when he told Chief Judge Hershey: "I no longer recognise your authority".
The zoom windows were full of shocked expressions.
In a loop! All night!!!
It's still very vivid in my mind!!!

A game of two halves for Nick in my dreams last night.
I dreamt I visited the first ToyFu stand in America which was quite exciting.
Unfortunately Nick was then arrested by the police in California and only emerged from prison years later sporting tats, a six pack and a desire to do no more than surf.
