Watching this at the moment. Two observations so far:

1. Professor X does not say 'fuck' even if you want your film to be gritty and hardcore.
2. In the inevitable remake of On The Buses, Stephen Merchant must play Blakie.

This film is really pointing out to me that I have completely lost track of the continuity of these films.

I don't mind the approach they've taken with it, but it's not a patch on the first class trilogy.

The effects of physical/mental decline can be so frustrating for the person involved, it can radically change a person.

If anything I'd say the character traits shown humanised Xavier in ways we've not seen and was powerful reminder of our responsibility towards an aging population.

Has anyone seen the black & white version on the Blu-ray, 'Logan Noir'?

I haven't, but I thought it might be better than the colour version.

Anyone seen both?

I never bother with 'noir' versions of modern films. Films made in colour with the colour turned off always look shit in clips. If you want black and white make it that way, ie completely different lighting, etc.

I have it on Blu-Ray with the normal version of Logan.

Not watched it yet.
