If Unicron ever appeared in the Movie universe (not just the UK comic, but in the films) should he have a toy released?
The other Primes appeared in Movie 2 but they didn't get toys so it isn't set that all characters in the films get toys.

The other primes were no more than unnamed generic background characters in a film with a plethora of unnamed generic background characters. They got all of two seconds of screentime and died. They did nothing to deserve a toy, and had no baring on the main plot.
If Unicron appeared, he would BE the plot. He would get a toy. How he's presented in the movie would effect what kind of toy he'd get, though. He'd probably end up with several.

Given we've got the Armada one, I'd be more than happy with a head playset instead of an actual figure. But then I'm still thinking old movie visually, and a playset? tcheah, right.
...so need more playsets for these figures.

They did nothing to deserve a toy, and had no baring on the main plot. In fairness, nothing really had much of a bearing on the plot of that film. Not even most of the actual named characters. As to toys, I seem to recall their animation models being pretty much minor tweaks of Fallen Dave's - so just buy a load of Fallen toys and sand off the "on-fire" bits. Job done. I'm inclined to say that it would be the threat - in the sense that the plot would either be preventing Unicron arriving and then making it blow up when it did (DOTMan version) - or Unicron would be the reason that the McGuffin was needed by both sides to either summon or destroy (ROFD version). I still can't work out why Brains hasn't had a toy version at all. If I were still a kid (which, actually I still am I suppose) I'd really want one. A full scale toy laptop that turns into a companion robot would be so much fun. As for Movie Unicron toy - I'd rather have a new Titan one but based on the 86 Movie instead. Movie Unicron would just be something that has nothing to do with the one we know. (But I'd love to be surprised).

I'd love a new Titan-Mass-Fuckoff-Ultra-Bastard-Mega Scale Unicron. With working Gravity Suction pit and Dinobot arse bite-marks. I'd Love it.
