Fantastic! Not having to faff around with the BBC's download service is a huge bonus. I would LOVE these on DVD.
Now do Captain Zep.

DOOG YREV!
Fantastic news. I have a great soft spot for the Adventure Game - a staple of my early years. I can see me springing for this when it comes out.

I hear Simply's usual inability to identify which episodes are on which discs is very much in force here. They've not learnt since Doomwatch!

Yes, there's no index. There is tiny writing round the rim of each disc which has the number on it, but nothing about which eps are on the disc.

Watching this morning while Liz and Jonathan out Ooooo, that smell when you open the box is good squishy! The second & third episodes on disc 1 appear to be the wrong way round if the Wikipedia list is to be believed en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventure_Game#Series_1Hadn't seen the first series before, didn't realise Ian Messiter was in it. The yellow top Pat Cater is wearing in episode 3 (Maggie Philbin & James Burke are the other guests) is strobing!

Vaguely. Think a more sedate BBC 80s version of a celebrity Crystal Maze

My recollection of it was that you wanted to watch the Robin Hood series, which I had not and still haven't seen, because it had The Darrow in it as the Sheriff of Nottingham and he must be barking in it. There is video evidence of you opening the parcel it was in and describing it as a good thing! www.star-dub.com/?p=539On a related note another of my friends has currently borrowed the Darrow Robin Hood.....

Yes, there's no index. There is tiny writing round the rim of each disc which has the number on it, but nothing about which eps are on the disc. I suspect Pinwig hasn't spotted the VERY LARGE labelling on each disc as to which order they should be watched in! Richard Of York Gave Battle

Absolutely loving this. So good to see the Paul Darrow episode again. I really appreciate the inclusion of the VHS episodes, despite the quality. I didn't realise we're only missing two episodes. I thought a lot more were lost.
Madeline Smith is brilliant. She's just solving the problems by shouting at them.
