2013 was the year Carlsen won the crown from Anand. There were a few cagey draws, but otherwise, no, it was not boring AT ALL.

I think it's 'cos there's long pauses during 'classical' (long time control chess) ganes that make it not -necessarily- a good spectator sport -all the time-.
