Great voice actor.
Makes no odds if the story is on a par with the Combiner Wars.

Is this coming to youtube outside the US the way CW did? The promos only mention Go90.

If it is the thing I'm thinking of it's been half inched from the G1 cartoon series and BWII

The intensely over-elaborate way the title comes up on screen is hilarious.

More of the same it seems. Confined to its own continuity I think it's enjoyable enough, but the limitations of the budget are impacting on the number of characters involved and there are some blatantly silly ideas like spoiler being able to give up spoiler just because he feels like it.

I thought it was worse than CW!!! And there was a scene where the dialogue was so muffled I had no idea what was being said. Oh dear.

Yikes!
I mean its better than CW, sort of, but CW was so bad it was laughable, this is so far just dull.
Hot Rods line sound as though they have literally been phoned in, using a long past its best rotary telephone along badly decayed phone line.
Wait is that why Hot Rod suddenly had a face plate, to explain the muffled voice?..............
Percy the excitable fanboy is no Sassy Megatron either, but isa step up on Bro Menasor. And Metroplex appears to have shrunk. A lot.
On the plus side, the animation looks a little better.

I don't see the point in casting Judd Nelson, unless they were going to do a significant amount of audio sweetening to make him sound younger when he is back to being Hot Rod.

While I've not watched any of TR, I do find it hilarious that they continue to use character designs that have nothing to do with the toys. It's like if Cybertron decided to use the Armada design for Red Alert, instead of the one it was supposed to promote. Or Megatron and Optimus used G1 Sunbow designs... specifically the post duel to the death battle damage versions, instead of the appropriate Cybertron designs.
I do think CW would have likely been slightly better received had they not severely over hyped it, even beyond the Marvel G2 "THIS IZ NOT YUR FATHERS AUTOBOT!!!" overhype. Like... they seriously built it up as the greatest and most mature TF animated series ever. They either completely lacked any self awareness, or were totally trolling us.
Either way, I think that may factor into TR. TR did not receive such hype. So it may seem a bit better than CW by sheer fact that the bar it needs to clear is so low, sharks sometimes chew on it at the bottom of the ocean.

A question: CW was available worldwide (youtube outside US). Is TR only available legally in America on Go90? Is there no international release?

I think the PR for it worded it in the 'hope to release internationally soon' vein.

A question: CW was available worldwide (youtube outside US). Is TR only available legally in America on Go90? Is there no international release? -Ralph I honestly have no idea. The Go90 app was the most broken thing I have ever tried to use. I lost count of how many times I had to delete and redownload it. More times than episodes of CW. It was also constantly having new updates (a couple times a week. As soon as I DLed an update, it it had a new one), but never seemed to fix it. Using the app was a worse experience than watching the show. So as soon as CW wrapped, I deleted it and vowed never to use it again.
