Why are these figures so bloomin hard to find? Is it just that nobody bought them due to the movie being mostly terrible?
I love dracula and other associated monsters so it was right up my street and I picked up a few of the figures from Forbidden Planet back when the movie came out.
Now I'm into collecting seriously, and with talk of a reboot reigniting my interest, I thought I'd go look for the rest. I picked up the 12" Van Helsing, Frankensteins Monster and Dracula Hellbeast figures for next to nothing but trying to find anything else in the UK is impossible.
Does/Did anyone else here collect them and can recommend where to pick them up? Or is anyone here even looking to sell them cos I'm looking to buy.

I didn't even know that film had a toy range!

It had a decent range, not massive but each figure had a couple of variants. There was a slightly basic Castle Dracula, which I've got, but there was figure and playset packs which connected to it to improve it. There was Van Helsing with a bell tower and zip line, Dracula with a coffin which had a pop up feature when you sat Dracula in it, Frankenstein with an ice block that he broke free from and Wolfman in a hanging cage.
As well as those most of the main cast had 2 variants of their basic figure. There was a dissection lab and eggs in slime too.

Just bought a toy I had no idea existed. A Van Helsing movie Stagecoach playset and 4 horses.
Turns out it's ridiculously rare, so rare I couldn't find another one for sale online anywhere in the world, but because nobody has any interest in the movie it only cost me £11.
