6:30PM ET: WKTV.com via the Los Angeles Times has confirmed the death of Jackson. The Associated Press and BBC have also confirmed his death.

6:20PM ET: Earlier this afternoon paramedics were called to the home of Michael Jackson, around 12:30PM PT. He was not breathing when paramedics arrived. They administered CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center.

Apparently Google thought it was under attack by hackers because of the sudden surge in users following the news of Michael Jackson's death, and Twitter crashed completely.

Dunno what happens to the 800,000 people who have bought tickets to his London tour.

Apparently there will be refunds for those who bought them direct from O2 or official suppliers. Otherwise it depends on what terms and conditions there were.

Of course, if you got them off ebay for hundreds of pounds, you're hosed!
